  1. I think my main problem is someone didn't put this cam back right. Can I get a detailed shot of how it goes and which way the spring should have tension?
  2. Just to be sure I understand correctly. Let's say you've got a "freshly rebuilt" carb according to the previous owner, it looks clean but the truck is running pig rich, so rich that you can't stand to be in the garage as soon as it's running. I should have the idle mixture screw as far out as possible? and the idle speed in the middleish? It starts and runs, but it lopes really bad and is so fuel rich. also with the engine completely cool, I can't get the choke plate to stay open, i'd guess based on the threads ive been reading i should be looking at the high idle
  3. Hey all, Just wanted to spread the word, we're putting on a drift event at Motorsport Park Hastings, in Hastings Nebraska. Will be a 2 day event, Saturday, and Sunday August 3rd & 4th, including Night Drifting on Saturday Night. Here is a bit more information on it: The Track: www.racemph.com/cms The Event: http://racemph.com/Corn-Bash-2013.htm First Drift event at this track, only did a test run end of last season. Should be a technical course, but fast parts too. Facebook Event: https://www.facebook.com/events/418187271600189/ Register Online: http://racemph.mycustomevent.com/ If you want to run both days, you have to add both items to the cart. I'll try and update this with more information as it becomes available, but if you have any questions.... SHOOT! Thanks! Jeremiah
  4. i don't recall, but i may be able to crawl back to it to look for that lol. thanks datzenmike!
  5. It's been 2 years since I pulled the stock drivetrain from 620 for the KA swap. I only drove the truck once before I pulled it, and can't for the life of me remember if it was a 4 speed manual or 5 speed manual. Is there any way to tell by the VIN what it had? I've got a guy interested if it's a 5 speed, but it's buried in the storage shed
  6. a quick google image search brought this back: tons of shots of this thing including up close detail shots http://torinosan.tumblr.com/post/40483943300 site is a little crappy to navigate
  7. where at in Wyoming? i've whored this link out to a couple of local guys looking for Zs
  8. Just saw this car is back up for sale in Colorado http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/3516465195.html
  9. Just saw this beast back up for sale on Craigslist! http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/3516465195.html
  10. no restrictions on tire size in the us. im not sure about the specs on those wheels, I didn't pick it up. too long of a haul for possibly rusted out :(
  11. im trying to resist. it's 500 miles away from me >.< thats a 7 hr trip each way
  12. all that and no assembled pics!??!?!? :D let's see this thing man!
  13. it'll break loose on dry pavement, it's got plenty of power. the spinning was mainly attributed to the slick pavement though lol i'll get the front end either spaced out, or swapped out, she'll have a wider stance, then it will be interesting
  14. in comparison to the IRS, the ka was simple lol the IRS, i could not have done without my buddy. he does shit like that all the time. he's planning his next project, a rolled audi a4 quatro drivetrain under a vw caddy retaining the awd. should be interesting lol i think i could do a ka swap in a weekend
