Yes he did said he’ll send out the head to be set up with the cam. It took like a months for me to receive it.

I will measure the cam, also to see if it’s what he said it is.

Yes on my to do list is the dizzy. I did remove the oil pump. I put in a new timing set in. As I was watching your video;-) Now as for Cali Dat, I never had problems with the guy, so I can’t agree with some of you guys Experience With him. That peanut head was in great condition, very clean, no Pitts. All of the internals look new well greased or Oil?Bottom of the head Not warped. Over here on the East coast we don’t have many option when it comes to buying Datsun Parts. This car can sit in the back of my garage for years and it can still be running bad. This car is just to bring some good childhood memories for me.

i Love the sound of the high cam! The car runs strong till it hits 4000rpm. I can spin the wheels in 3rd gear no problem. like I said before this car is a once a month wkend car, I just want to have the power to pull in when I’m merge in a on-ramp. Not looking to have a race with the local imports. But looking at my picture of the dizzy I think it might be off a tooth like u said??? This wkend I’ll hit it up again. I’ll play with the dizzy and check it a missing tooth? May old setup was a u67 head with 40mm dual side drafts Weber’s. It ran ok it was a lil too rich but I didn’t care cause the car might get 1000miles in a year. I’ve have a kit of jets and air corrector that I’ve been playing with. I always play with cars so this is no bother for me. Gets me out the house on wkends. But I’ll keep everyone updated. Thx!!!!! For the inputs.

The cam gear v notch is inline with the dash on the cam. My dizzy is line up to 11:28. Wires are in order.
