  1. The fuel return is working fine, but I'm still getting a pressure leak from the pump. Anyways, it's getting swapped for an electric pump. So, I'm thinking -6 for the feed line and -4 for the return. Does that make sense?
  2. I can hear pressure leaking out when the engine is off. Replaced both soft lines to the pump and can still hear a hiss.
  3. My mechanical fuel pump is losing pressure and its time to upgrade to an electric one. While I'm upgrading I thought I would go ahead and run some -an line as the stock lines are also on their way out. Planning on running all the way to the tank. What size lines should I be running? I was thinking -6 but not too sure. I'm running a weber 32/36 on a stock a14 if that helps. Thanks guys!
  4. Awesome! Thanks for the advice. Without crawling under there to confirm, I believe stock exhaust is a 1.5. I'll start gathering the materials this week! Should I flare the connection from the manifold from 1.5 to 1.75 or just go 1.75 straight off the manifold? Not sure if it will make a difference just thought it might be smoother flow with the flare. Can't wait to get started!
  5. That makes sense, the motor is stock and running a downdraft weber. I'm thinking of going efi at some point but it definately needs a new exhaust for now. So, if I'm thinking correctly I could run 1 3/4 pipe from the manifold back and flare to the 2 in inlet on the hks muffler near the end. Possibly a glass pack in there too if it is too loud. Sound reasonable?
  6. Hey guys, I'm about to do a stainless exhaust for my 78 b210. From what I have read on the forums I have decided to go with a 2in all the way back, and will likely be using an hks hi power muffler. My question is, I am still running the stock exhaust manifold, so can I simply run 2in. from the exhaist manifold or should I taper the exhaust from the stock size to a 2 in pipe? Will I run into exhaust flow issues if I go with 2in directly from the manifold? Any advice is greatly appreciated guys! Thanks!
  7. Hey, have a couple buddies in Austin. Can I get your number, I would be interested in one of the a/c compressors and bracket for the a14. Also, any other a/c stuff you might have that would fit a 78 b210. You can reach me at twotoedbandit at yahoo or you can text me at 504-4 five 3 -23 five 3. Should be able to have one of my buddies come pick it up from you in the next few days. Thanks- Mike
  8. Ooh. That's worth looking into! The guy I'm talking about is just an importer. He just happened to get us some ae86 parts. His website is ep importers. I'm sure some of youau be familiar with him from other car sites. Good guy. I'm definitely gonna look at the steel ones!! Thanks!
  9. Hey guys. I contacted a guy that has helped my friends and I get ae86 parts in Japan. Hopefully he can give us so insight on who makes them. Ill keep you posted if he can get them. Fingers crossed!
  10. Definitely gonna do fiberglass cause it would be a shame to paint a metal one. Just don't know what company in Japan to look at for the fiberglass ones. I'll do a little research. Thanks!
  11. Anyone know who makes the fiberglass replicas of the jdm bumpers, like on the beat works car.
  12. No worries. Let me know if you change your mind.
  13. Does the '78 have an ac system. If so I'm interested in all of it! Shipped to New Orleans 70122. Thanks, Mike
  14. okay, so I pretty much have to fab something. oh well. was hoping i could just use that other weird bracket thanks
  15. ok tried installing the weber today. everything went well except for the throtle cable. This is the cable end that I have. There isn't a way to put it through the bracket pictured in the above post. This bracket was in the kit as well, but I can't figure out how it would mount to hold the cable. Any ideas?
