    Oil light

I was wondering if it is hard to switch the oil pump? Or is it like most other cars?

    Oil light

Thanks for the advice guys I'll look into both the sender and pump. I just changed the oil less than 1,000 miles ago.

    Oil light

I'm having some troubles with my 720. It has 280k+ miles on the dash and eveytime I turn it on the oil light stays on for a couple seconds. I'm thinking it's the oil pump going out but I don't know much about Datsuns. Can y'all help. Also any of you guys out here in the Houston area? Thanks in advance.

    mpg on 4x4

Not trying to thread jack but my stock 82 2x4 gets 17.6 mostly highway. :-( but it's idling high and I have no tach.
  9. Thanks for the advice. I'll just leave it alone for now. I'll mess with it more one I'm back in Texas. Is there anyone here from the Houston area?
  10. Datzenmike I'm trying to take the vacuum lines off the carb I think I found them. Just want to make sure I'm doing this right. There's 2 lines on the plate beneath the carb and one on the carb itself. There's also 3 lines that go to some kind of cylinoid by the fender. My question is that the line thats on the plate also has a T on it and it. One goes to the efr and the other to the thermal swith on the intake. Do I have the right hoses. Thanks Here's some pics.
  11. The thing is I want to add a v8 and don't want no axle wrap. What would be the best way to go in the suspension?
