  1. if i do i will let you know mate
  2. Love the 2 dr Sedan ! i would love one but we didn't get them here in NZ i have seen 1 bare metal shell of one that was rusty as sin!, the coupe looks tuff as with those dark wheels :) also the blue 310GX is craxy looking i have never seen one of them before, any more pics/info on that ? keep up good work :)
  3. No sorry mate , i am a bit of a hoarder i'll keep all the square light stuff hidden away incase i ever need it
  4. Yea everything lined up, Except for the valence, the bolt holes didn't quite line up so will need a round headlight valance to completely finish it off. you need the guards and bonnet and the scuttle panel ( the one where the wipers come out from) as it has the grove in the centre to much the bonnet, its not necessary as the square light one will work it just does not look right i reckon, also the bumper bracket holes need to be slotted to bring the bumper closer it to line up with guards etc ( i still need to do this ) .
  5. Just with standard lights for now , as for updates nothing really to report, new wheels and that is about all. Had the 2011 Datsun Nationals here in NZ in October heres some pics of my wagon from the event
  6. Not wanting to sell any of the bits sorry mate, will store them away
  7. started the round light conversion today
  8. Id love to go on a 1 or 2 month tour of the US and ship the bluebird over there and do it in that . just for something different. dont even know if thats possible
  9. Hmm thanks for that info mate will keep that in mind. thats what i love about these forums, the helpful info ya get. cheers guys! in other news its snowing here , and the old z18 loves to slide haha, 3rd gear in a straight line on wet/little bit slushy road and she lites up hard. also the extra cold weather is helping with power, wish everyday was like this
  10. indeed z24et's have a reputation as a big tourqe monsters. would love to build one for the bluebird one day, but the z18et seems to be hard on gearboxes also haha. a z24et would kill a ZL71B pretty quick would need an upgrade i would say. witch probably isnt easy. the motor seems to run sweet as a dime on 10psi, i have seen half rooted z18ets run 15 psi + till the cows come home with no prolems so im thinking 10 should be safe....ish haha i dont trash it anyway, its not a real revvy motor just a good tourquey motor , with very little lag. Shame you guys never got these. great fun :) dont think australia got em either
  11. It goes pretty good, rebuilt (apparently) running standard everything on 10psi with a gt4 celica intercooler front mounted. rated at 135 hp so not ground breaking power but it feels quite quick. i love the shape of the rear window how it wraps around.
  12. Thought id post up some pics of my other datsun/nissan project, bout it off a guy from the new zealand datsun club, the paint was terrible and interior was pretty average 2, but seemed mechanically sound and you dont see many sss hardtop turbo's these day's pic's when i first got it , after a day of sanding and a quick coat of white primer here's what i came up with came out not too bad for my first attempt at painting a whole car
  13. sorry mate i don't have any spares, a friend of mine works at nissan here in christchurch,nz and he said he can source em new from thailand or something for 300 bux new zealand, so maybe enquire about them at a nissan agency over there
  14. im pretty impressed with its performance ae, for 133hp and 80's technology it goes really well. plenty of potential
  15. there's the motor out of my new car, think the z18et only came in the jdm sss 910
