  1. much thanks. the original reasoning of looking at a t4 was for future options of higher horse. but as for now i need a garret t28. who's got one?
  2. I am looking at purchasing a t4 .60 trim turbo for my sr20 510 project. I am no looking to run much higher than stock boost due to the internals of the motor being stock. So first question is it even worth buying the turbo if I am running stock boost? Will I need larger injectors? What type of tuning will I need to do? Any help would be great! Thanks, Ben
  3. I'm using aftermarket fuel cells. -4an steel braided lines. On the fuel rail is where I'm running into trouble. So you're saying that i could use the steel braided line and just use a band clamp to attach it at the fuel rail?
  4. Installing my fuel lines on my 510 with s14 sr20 swap. everything from the tank forward is sound but how does the fuel line attach to the fuel rail. and witch end is the inlet and witch the return side? also how are the lines attached all I can find on the fuel line are hose connects. I thought on fuel injected vehicles you had to have threaded connectors and that regular hose ends with a clamp would blow off? Any help is appreciated greatly !!!!!! Thanks, Ben
  5. That still doesn't really solve the problem with the sr drive shaft to the subaru differential. Unless they are universal flanges? this would be nice eh?
  6. well I would call a driveline shop except I live in Minot, North Dakota and we have one place and they dont make anything metric only standard and already said that they wouldn't do it. If you give me a name of a driveline shop I would gladly give them a jingle!
  7. Or would I be able to buy a driveshaft say like this one http://www.frsport.com/Driveshaft-Shop-NISH4-Aluminum-Driveshaft-S14-240SX-ABS-VLSD_p_14062.html and have it shortened. and would the flange bolt to the subaru r160 diff?
  8. ggzilla is that a driveshaft for an sr swapped 510 with subaru rear diff? If so I would love to know where you got it from
  9. jcd0402.....that is fucking hilarious!! who don't love boobies!! But this guy with a car with 70 miles...I don't know seems fishy
  10. I am getting close to having my 510 running in which it will need a new drive shaft. I am running a s14 sr20 with stock s14 5 speed tranny and subaru r 160 rear diff. and I know what I need just cant recall the name of the part. I need the part that comes out of the end of the tranny and connects to the drive shaft and the part that connects the rear diff to the drive shaft. The subaru rear diff has a round 4 bolt mounting plate. Has anyone used this setup before and know where to get a drive shaft made? Any help would be super awesome!!!!! Thanks, Ben
  11. well I wont be using any of the stock Datsun harness...all new wires with new switches...but if it comes down to having to use painless I suppose I'll use it.. but thanks for all the help!!
  12. I ordered a kit from Hidsrus and it came with a relay and a battery wire with a fuse but not 100% on how to hook to hid ballasts. But as for the fuse box pic that would be tight. And every time I got to painless I can never find datsun or nissan specific harnesses.
  13. So I have a 72 510 I am restoring. And have the car complete up to the wiring....the worst part. Now a lot of the the wiring has been cast aside because I am using a wiring harness from wiring specialties to wire up my motor (sr20) and will be only needing headlights tailights and blinkers...and have looked at the wiring diagram provided on this site and traced all the wires I will be needing to use. that's all fine and dandy...except for a couple things. The headlight relay.. the stock one i had got destroyed by flooding and I am also running hid headlights. what would be a good replacement for this? also I am switching to new style fuzes. what size fuses should go to what things...lights and such. Any help would be sooo appreciated!!! Thanks, Ben
