  1. I have to side with thisismatt. I convert things multiple times a week. Mostly lengths, volume, and temperature. It doesn't hurt to learn the conversion.
  2. As far as I know, the options for rear suspension adjustment are slotting the stock rear control arm mounting points, and the adjustable brackets (like the ones sold by Datsport). There might be other options out there that I don't know about. I would say the necessity depends on your plans for the car. How slammed do you want the car? (Seeing as the main reason for needing the adjustments is when lowering the car excessive camber and toe are induced) Do you plan on tracking/racing the car? I have been driving on my stock rear crossmember with lots of camber and toe for about a year and a half now. It is possible to go without althought tires get eaten up pretty quickly and you don't have the optimal rear alignment. My personal opinion is thar the adjustment IS necessary, but that is because my car sits pretty low and I do plan on tracking and possibly racing my car. I am about to order the Datsport do-it-yourself kit myself, finally! I'm not sure what your budget is, but if you think you might need it, the do-it-yourself kit with crossmember bushings and control arm bushings can be had for less than $500usd from Datsport. All you would need is a friend with some decent welding abilities. Hopefully this was helpful.
  3. Well I haven't done it, or actually seen it myself before, but I believe that would be what people refer to as a slotted crossmember. The inner up/down slotting would be for adjusting camber and the outer in/out slotting would be for adjusting toe. A more useful alternative to slotting the crossmember would be the adjustable brackets that can be found in a couple different places. Datsports already assembled crossmember, http://datsport.com/Adjustable_rear_cross_member.html They also sell a do-it-yourself kit. A gentleman from the510realm, bryon510, makes his own do-it-yoursef kit http://the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=6946
  4. http://citytireonline.com/ http://onlinetires.com/ Both of these places have great prices, especially here in california where we get charged extra fees.
  5. Rear crossmember mounts. I have heard that replacing/upgrading these can make a big improvement in handling. I'm working on getting my rear crossmember modified so I can find out soon for myself. 2/3's of the way down the page for polyurethane ones. http://www.racetep.com/datsunsusp.html Solid mounts sold here. http://www.designproductsracing.com/510_RearSuspension.html Hope this helps.
  6. This stands out the most to me. Did you reverse the polarity on the fan? If not you have a fan that used to be sucking outside air and pushing it through your radiator. Now that its facing the other direction you're sucking hot engine air and pushing it through your radiator. Hopefully this helps.
  7. The booster itself is leaking, but the mounting bracket is in good condition. I believe a rebuilt booster can be had for around $80. If you have the mounting plate I would gladly trade you for the booster set-up including the 3/4 master cylinder, if you're interested. Let me know if you find it. I'm not in a huge hurry, but I would like to get my baby back on the road. Thanks, Ryan
  8. I'm looking for the mounting plate for the master cylinder(betweeen the firewall and brake master cylinder). I might be interested in getting rid of my 210 booster set-up. I'm located in Los Angeles. phone 323-333-4128 Thanks, Ryan
  9. I have 4 yokohama es100 215/60/15 tires. They have about 80% tread left. They came with the wheels I bought for my 510, but I don't need them. I can be contacted at 323-333-4128 I would like to get $150obo for these tires. They are located in pasadena,ca.
  10. Sorry if I offended some with the gay wheels. I just thought they were different. And I personal think they are neat wheels. Right now I am personally running konig rewinds untill I can afford real watanabes and decide whether or not I'm going to go with flares.
  11. If your into the bosozuku (I think thats how it's spelled) you could always try these, but I read that they can get close to $7000 a set. If money was no object and they came in say a 15x7 or 15x8, I would get an extra set to throw on if I was feeling funky.
