Getting kind of desperate. I've scoured the net, can't find anyone parting out a Datto with what I need. I need one for a 4 door. Will travel to most places in Southern California. Let me know if you have it and how much you want.
Thanks.
Hey guys. I'm really getting desperate to find the rocker panel I'm looking for. Do any of you know of 510s in junk yards in southern california? If it has 4 doors and isn't destroyed, chances are the rocker panel will be better than what I have. Please let me know!
Thanks!
Woot! You guys rules, I put my tie rod puller in between the tie rods and used my jack to get an extra bit of force on there, and the nut went right on! I DID go to Autozone last night and get a boot. Thanks for all of your suggestions, Ratsun rules.
I've tried putting pressure on the end, to no avail. I would put a boot on it, but the one I had is toast. Just need to get it to my friend's house so we can put new tie rod ends on.
hey guys, having trouble getting the tie rod end back on the center link. Please view the picture below:
I tried tightening the bolt (circled in red on left) to no avail. The shaft circled in red on the right keeps spinning in place. Is there some sort of trick to this? Tried BFHing it, no luck. If so, please share!
Thanks guys.
Phil, I am trying to replace the bushing. Will I need the press to get it back on? I'm guessing I don't need to do any more removal than I already have to get the bushing R&R. I almost have the whole thing out just from drilling rubber bushing out. I have a new set I'm going to put back in.
The rubber piece is toast. I got the idler arm the front of the car, however it is still stuck to the drag link. I used a pickle fork on the tie rod it's connected to, no luck. How do you get the damned bushing out?? I've been chewing away at the rubber for like an hour, it's not budging. Any help??
Man it's so hard to get this shit to budge! There is a bushing trying to prevent me from getting it off the draglink... do I have to destroy that to get it off?
