Well just got back from looking it over and helping the owner getting it running. It has no rust that I could see, I didn't get the carpets up to check the floor boards but from underneath and engine bay I saw none. The weather stripping looks good still soft and pliable,windows are tinted, carpet has seen better days, all; the lights work and appear to be uncracked. The dash has a couple of cracks, interior plastic is very dirty, the owner is going to paint them a light brown, they are currently beige . He is replacing the front seats with some buckets from a Ford escort. They don't match but are in good condition and the datsun frame rails fit. The a/c is there but not working, the wiring is messed up. Exterior wise it is the original paint with 3 stripes down the center. He's going to redo 2 of them to silver and black. He paints cars for a living so painting the pin stripes and the interior should't be a problem. It does need shocks, stock wheels w/hubcaps, and 13" tires which appear to be in good condition. I'm wondering, I have some 14" wheels from a z with new tires, would they fit?? Really its worth $3500, what would the value be with a 5 spd??

Hi all, I'm looking at the above. Its an auto,150,000 miles, has a minor ding on the drivers side rear but no other visible damage or rust, has the A14 engine and runs ok. Is there anything particular I should check out?? I'm familiar with Z's and know what to look for on those and am wondering if its the same for this?? Also what is a non restored value for this. Being unrestored, the paint is original and could be returned to a shine, stock wheels, and a poor interior except for the door cards. The owner says it needs a starter, shocks and a new ignition switch with key. The ignition switch is what worries me as I don't know what its availability is. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

If this was running you could drop it off on your way but I already have one. Is all the glass there and in good condition??

I have a 69 521 here in Glendale, AZ.

I have a 1969 521 that has sat for more years than I know. Inspite of that it is in fair condition. Has the 1300 engine but no carbuerator, with a 4 speed, All glass is intact except for the windshield. It's located in Phoenix, Az which would make it an easy tow to the CA ports. I'm asking $750.00.
