  1. What?!? That sucks! Let's see if this works...
  2. yes and kind of. The Mustang version is fine for 90%+ of the people who buy them, especially with the automatic. Once you start bumping up the power with add-ons and engine re-tunes things get a lot touchier. Ford in their infinite wisdom put a coolant channel on the tops of the walls between the cylinders from 2015-2019 and didn't beef up the head gasket to prevent the pressure from washing it out and leaking coolant into the cylinders. Later engines they changed the block design and made it an internal channel. They're also prone to head lift when the boost pressure gets up above 23 on the stock turbo. My original head gasket went at 35k miles and because of my mods I ended up paying for it out of pocket. The stock replacement went around 61k and this time I'm getting an improved head gasket and ARP studs. I should probably upgrade the turbo...
  3. As the owner of a modified 2.3 Mustang, I would recommend the 3.5 ecoboost. My car is currently getting it's 3rd head gasket in 61,000 miles...
  4. Just saw an N600 for sale on Facespace Market: HERE Wasn't sure if you might want to pick it up for parts...
  5. HAHAHAHAHAHA my 19x10 with 285/35 laugh at your puny tires!
  6. I loved these cars. (class of '87) Turbo 4 is why I'm driving a new Eco Mustang now. I want/need something I can tinker with, but still drive daily. I'm kind of done with non-running cars for a while.
  7. Looking forward to the next build John...
  8. I'm so happy to see that my old wagon has found a good home! Just for clarity, no, I didn't scuff it down. I did paint the rising sun on the hood originally, but it was complete and red/white. Are those still the LED sidemarkers I put on?
  9. It's been three years. Did you ever fix up my old wagon? The motor was actually an L18, and yes, the intake valve on cyl #2 is gone, dropped into the piston and I didn't have the time to fix it. Sold both the '72 and the '71 pictured next to it as a package deal with a whole garage full of spares, everything to rebuild both if necessary.
  10. It's looking good John! Planning on registering it as an antique to get around the wiper requirement in the Texas inspection?
  11. Just like putting it on the regular grille, with the hardware on teh badge... I'm not even running that grille anymore...
  12. Cool pics, but dude, turn off the date stamp... We know you didn't take them in 2007...
  13. I have a few favorites...
  14. Were you trying for this?
