  1. Working on cars in white Nikes. Truly a brave man. :O
  2. One of the few car models on the road that actually make me physically ill to witness. Maybe now it's justified?
  3. Found a neat little Nissan Micra that we never get to see in the states. I like the throwback color and the sticker really completes the package. Krems, Austria
  4. You're far from home visiting beautiful countries and all you can think about is when you'll be able to work on your Dat.
  5. Dang man, I'm sorry to hear that. Your character is shining through, though. There's a lot of people who wouldn't have been able to help themselves in your same position. It's not a craving thing at all for me. I just stopped having fun when drinking so it seemed pointless. Starting to smoke small amounts of weed again and has helped tremendously in all regards.
  6. Good work man, keep it up! I'm about 6 months in by choice, cuz feeling like an old man at 27 was getting really old. Now I actually sleep through the night, I'm no longer having aches in my joints, and my wallet is able to lend more help towards permanently good times like instruments and parts for the 620. It was a bit of an adjustment as my job puts me in bars all the time, but now I feel like I can never go back. You'll get there, too!
  7. Coming along... A ton of elbow grease later (mostly on the body), I have my carb cleaned and built up fresh. I used oxy torch cleaning tips to get at all the internal crusties and it worked beautifully. If only I could now slap this on and start her up. :( Freshly pulled Cleaned and ready to mate Gotta say even though this isn't much work for some of the heavy hitters around here, it feels goddamn good to be doing all of this for myself. I couldn't have done it without discovering this community, using the search bar, absorbing Ratsun's spirit. Thanks y'all!
  8. Holy shit. I received my carb rebuild kit today, started to crack it open and found that; the previous shop's "work" that I had paid for. Good lord. You know what they say about wanting things done right? Might have a lick of truth to it. Fuel filter? Who needs it?? It's just weighing you down!
