I didn't see it mentioned in the instructions, so I suggest backing of the spark plugs.It makes it easier to turn over the motor. I would also suggest using a large wrench on the crank to turn the motor rather than jumping the starter, it makes it easier to get the cam exactly where you need it to adjust each valve. Derek
