Try looking at your tag with flashlight from many different angles. Sometimes you can catch a glimpse of a faded number. Also inverting the colors on a camera can bring it out. I took over 100 pics on my truck trying to read the tag. I got it though. Knowing what the number might be helps a lot.
Nice truck. Unlike other guys if I deem your truck worthy I'm willing to let my parts go. No reason to put perfect parts on a junk truck. I've given away or sold parts before just to see them end up at the junk yard and buy them back. Remember Ebay is your friend (unless your selling)
Cosmo any word on the wood faux? This is from a 1974. Seems like the center console is easier to find than the dash pan itself. The center console in my 75 is wood faux but the dash pan had the silver stripe.
Sometimes the door doesn't open from the inside. Nothing is broken except a unrelated piece. The parts are just worn out with massive amounts of rusty tension and slop. A little wd-40 fixed it up for now.
