my gfs 411 was running fine and out of nowhere it died i notice the coil was leaking fluids and the noticed that the back of the coil resistor was broken so i replaced the coil and the resistor and the condenser and the car started right up but then after a couple of minutes the resister started buring up and smoking.....i check the battery and it was fine but i think the alternator was charging high and the other thing is that the people we bought the car from had redone the wiring and took out the voltage regulator...so if anyone knows what i can do to fix it please let me know or should i just think about swaping in a 240sx single cam in?
I have a 1972 510 thats automatic and was planning in making it stick shift and I wondering if anyone knows if the engine, tranny, and anything needed to make it stick from a 1974 620 truck would fit and work.
im have trouble with my 1972 510 it starts and it sounds good but soon as i put it in gear it just dies on me it only stays on when its in park or nutral i havent been able to find anyone that know anything and when i do find someone they all give me different answers...so if you might have any ideas of what it could be please let me know.
I'm having trouble finding rear break shoes for my 67. 411 Datsun . .. so i was wondering if anyone knows where i can find them or if i could use a different model that is compatible to replace them.
