Quick test... Does the vibration occure when you are stopped and in neutral and just holding the engine at the problematic RPM? If so...does the noise change when you press in the cluch pedal? If the noise is quiet when the clutch pedal is down but loud when the clutch pedal is out then you have determined the problem to the clutch related.
