  1. Stay away from those lenses with lacquer thinner. I tried to clean up a set a long time ago and it only took a couple minutes for the thinner to get to the glue holding them together, and they just fell apart. I got the last set the dealer had at the time.

    620's UNITE !!!!!!!!!

Yea, Moonlight. Not sure I could have remembered that name though, kinda feel old... I had a yellow '74 620 with aluminum slots. Never did Enumclaw, but the bigger runs I made were down to Washougal, and then somewhere in Pierce County, maybe the Spanaway area. Otherwise Tuesday nights at Godfather's on 38th.

    620's UNITE !!!!!!!!!

Wait a sec... long time ago I was in a Tac mini truck club. There was me and maybe another guy who had those windows. Can't remember the name of the club it's been so long. Used to meet at Godfather's on 38th right by the freeway. I'd come up from Oly every week. Yea, I think these could be an affordable option for trucks these days. I remember seeing these for the 720s and similar sized windows too. If I found one for my HB I'd get it for sure.

    620's UNITE !!!!!!!!!

I should have kept the frame after I broke the glass on my Flex-Thru. That window was the best way to let some air out the back window and are still the coolest back window option....
  5. Someone save this '73 620 in Sedro Wolley / Mt. Vernon Washington!!! If you want to tackle some wiring... http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/2824755778.html 1973 Datsun 620 parting or whole - $500 (Sedro Woolley) Date: 2012-02-01, 6:42PM PST Reply to: qtfz6-2824755778@sale.craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?] Has wiring issues. Who ever had this before me messed everything up! I tried going through it but I still can't get spark out of the coil so I'm giving it up to craigslist. 620's UNITE !!!!!!!!!

I'm with the other guys, envious of such a clean ride...... WITH A/C!!! Got any pics of the dash/AC controls?
  7. 100,000 + views is pretty cool, but I'm not surprised, you have a very cool truck and an awesome thread. This build is a great example of a well thought-out project. I really did laugh out loud when I read the first thing you are going to make, too funny!!!
  8. Thought I'd share, sorry if it's a repost. NOT MINE, just a CL ad. Bunch of parts they want gone by the end of this month, in North Seattle... http://everythingmustgo.weebly.com/ http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/1802360907.htmlhttp://everythingmustgo.weebly.com/
  9. Truck color, then white, then, it's your truck and you can see it in person and make the best choice. Way cool truck BTW, been watching this thread from the start. If those brake/turn lights are functional, what are they from/where did you get them?
  10. Having "never been into bodywork"..... could have fooled me. It's nice to see all the good prep work and quality products being used. At least you know you've fixed everything right. Keep the pics coming!
  11. Thanks to all that have read this. It looks like a pretty solid case is building against this guy. Haven't heard anything lately about his condition in the hospital. http://www.komonews.com/news/local/69611592.html Sounds like he did more than just kill Officer Brenton.
  12. Just an update SPD have someone in custody, they think they have the right person. It's breaking news on all the Seattle stations. http://www.komonews.com/news/local/69420262.html Lets hope this turns out to be the right person.
  13. More good points & info here: http://forum.ratsun.net/showthread.php?t=16867 I've been on both sides, I've been (and still am) the car and Datsun nut who feels like the cops are out to hassle me, and I've ridden in cop cars on duty in a very small town and a big city. I have had at least one ticket way more than I've had a clean record, and I've ridden 75 mph in a 25 zone in a cop car on our way to a "officer needs assistance" call. My point is that the "cops" are some of the people who make it so we can take for granted being able to do what we like, when we like, and for the most part how we like. When they "do their job" they risk way more than most of us, for us, and that is why they should get respect from the rest of us. Simple as that. I wouldn't have asked for help here if I didn't know how cool everyone is and how much community is here. Datsuns just happen to be the cool common factor for the cool people around here. Whoever did this might have been driving a Datsun and have now lost their privilege to decide how they want to live the rest of their life. If anyone here can help hold them responsible for their actions then it's worth asking for your help.
  14. Please help if you can http://forum.ratsun.net/showthread.php?t=16858 Thanks, Michael.
