Hey all, a few days ago I've finished trekking about 1000KM to become the proud owner of an '82 Datsun 210. I bought if off a fellow member, who was cool enough to refer me to the community. The member and vehicle in question are in This Thread. The vehicle in question was purchased with no engine or transmission, but that's not a huge deal, as we were looking to replace the entire powertrain if we could afford it. I've purchased the vehicle because I was looking for an FR machine that was very light and very unique, as I was looking for an entry for the 24 Hours of LeMons and didn't wanna be the boring team with the BMW 3 series or a Miata. If our plans to acquire a $300 FC RX-7 work out, the datto should end up rocking a 13B along with a white/rising sun theme (Our team theme is undecided as of yet). Once the car gets into the garage at the beginning of April, there will also be a part-out on the interior and some other components as we take them off, so I'll keep you all posted. Anyway, I'll end up lurking around and post pics of the progress as it happens. ...Cheers
