  1. hey man hows your SR swap going? Right now its in my garage with the motor back out. Blew a piston ring so the motor is torn down to build back up one last time I hope. Unfortunately it is at the bottom of my projects list hoping to be back at it by summer! Just slowly getting a pile of parts.
  2. Thanks bro! Glad to hear about any 510s up in the north east! I never dynoed it before unfortunately but they say the motor makes between 205-215 whether it be at the crank or the wheels. I put the engine in with full exhaust, whale penis intake manifold, exhaust manifold and intercooler for little upgrades over stock. When I got it dynoed he said he would be happy if I made 285 horse and the first pull was like 289 he almost shit. Me too man! lol - I just got my rear coil overs and ordered some of my motor parts. Im getting there... i cant wait either!
  3. haha its off my 2004 dodge ram, cut it down to fit and riveted it on
  4. hey yal got my lil monster on the operating table in my basment. Over the summer the weld on my manifold let go where the external wastegate was added so I parked it because it sounded like a broken tractor. I convinced myself it was time to do more so now its time I am pulling the top end and doing a metal head gasket, cams, valve springs and retainers, engine seals and reclock the turbo down to fit better. While taking apart I found the number one cylinder likely has bad piston rings soooo they are getting taken care of now too. So I am obviously excited to get this back together. Looking for some rear coil overs to put the power down more effectively if anyone knows of any also. Then likely going to add some flares and fatter tires to help as well. valve cover off - lined up chain sprockets and 2nd crank mark pulled the cams pulling the head - couldnt get the lower bolt off the down pipe to the turbo so in turn couldnt get the turbo off the manifold and the manifold off the head (like over engineered legos!) so the manifold, turbo & down pipe came out on the head lower end of engine - bay is soooo messy without everything tucked under the intake manifold and behind the engine head and manifold sand blasted the valve cover pile of goodies new JUN 280 cam vs stock s13 240 cam - oh boy - will it idle? and the cause of all this madness the crack that started and blew out at the cruise'que not a big deal but excuse enough to put in the parts I had excited for this to all come together
  5. really? thats awesome. not many on the east coast. yea man i agree there was function for it when I had the t25 but not the gt28 is too big and while I have it apart I need to point it down. Good call. Just need to make a new intercooler pipe.
  6. datsluv that light bar is sick! it goes to the bumper mount? dope
  7. Thanks guys. I love the color scheme I feel you dont see black to often on 510s. I was happy with the paint and the wheels when I bought it so I kept it, I cant take credit BUT I did take the Xenon body kit off lol They are 800cc injectors and the tunes is nismotronic, I love it. I had it tuned at Granite State Dyno here in NH and it was great to work with. Similar to Nistune I believe and very capable. My car was the test car for the new software here at GSD and Alex the tuner loved it. It was fun to tune, we were going for 275 horse and were blown away when it put down 285 before tuning! Turned up the boost and changed timing and now its hard not to giggle like a little girl with 327 to the rear wheels. This winter I am planning to instal some cams I bought with a headgasket, head bolts and accessories - I would be happy to see 350whp but woooo 400 would be crazy
  8. A few new pics and a fun video off my brothers phone, sound is terrible...sorry
  9. Thanks guys shes a blasty blast! I love my pinstripe haha so awesome you have one too!
  10. this is an awesome thread - I just read 25 pages and though I wasnt gonna see any dimes w my wheels until DRIVENs goon popped up with autobahns too heres mine
  11. I know there was a guy in Cali that was making these but has since stopped in any sort of consitant process and that there was a guy on here that made an order of 20 last year some time but I didnt have the money then to do it - isnt that always the way SO now I would really like a front sway bar, I know it would make all the difference in the world Any have any ideas or a used one they dont want or arnt using I know the stock one does not fit
  12. how difficult is that. I like the idea of a rack. I searched but didnt see anything about it. It makes sense bc of size. wow that is a higher ratio huh. i found a few when I called around I might jump on. My two concerns are that right now it feels like I am driving a car steering by rope lol and that it would be nice to have a better feel, ratio and more angle/lock/what have you if I upgrade it. I do use the car to slide around and as short as the wheel base is it comes around quickly. I dont think my turns that tight for a little car. It would be nice to be able to turn the wheel more, like my old volvos and bmws...
  13. Yea thats true. Is there a way to get the tires to turn more? more angle? Sounds like the better ratio in the 210 would help the situation but not add any actual angle.
  14. Ok so I am going to bring this back from the dead as I have been doing my own research on this topic and should have just come here and find it all in one feel swoop - you guys know so much its scary lol So my 510 has 430k miles on it - maybe the stock steering box, its loose to say the least, feels like driving a second gen cummins. I want to replace/upgrade it so I am looking for a 210 or 610 box I suppose. From what was said earlier will I gain any more actually steering angle on the tires when they are turned on either of there boxes or is that as I suspect from the suspension geometry itself.
