Hey DR, I haven't kept close to this awesome web sight after I got my truck all together as a prodject at my local high school auto shop. The instructor is a close friend and thought because of its simplicity he could show things easily to his students as we first took it apart then they watched as the parts came in from the machine shop. All that to say the original motor that did run just not strong, has been waiting its turn for rebuild but I just haven't had the time or extra cash to do it just to make the truck totally numbers matching though that would be nice and my thought for someone interested in the truck, inn the future, but who knows if that would happen, so the motor is probably aviable if someone where interested. Keep in touch, hope you solve your prodject needs.

Hey I'm up in SaN Luis Obispo and I pulled my running J13 and put a 2nd motor i purchased and completely rebuild with all new machine work, so mine runs great and the original motor i was going to rebuild then put back in as all original, well haven't got that far so its just sitting. I'm leaning toward selling my 520 so the engine could be aviable if that is the way you end up needing to go.

Hi sorry for my late response, but the picture posted by "Pacific Coast Datsun" is the one similar to the repair manual and what I had in mind with the question. Datsunaholics comment about outside the USA in other countries makes sense, so I guess I would need to connect with a outside U.S. parts supplier. Anybody gotta name? Hi any of you familiar with a roll bar for a 520 pickup, a 1967, and I have seen pictures with this attached to the front of the bed behind the cab, but I have never seen one on restored trucks here in the U.S., anybody know about these?

Hey 620green, boy you came along at the right time for alot of us to do some finish work on our prodjects, and I gotta say thanks for your efforts. I'm looking for round fenders mirrors and a steering wheel for a 1967 520, and if theres another one of those clocks floating around I'm up for it,so what kinda price am I looking at to get to San Luis Obispo on the central coast of California?

Hey pucancakes is this still aviable, cuz I can take the wheels off mine to swap so it could be rolled onto my trailer or pulled, either way, but not sure what Gene is talking about sending a payment, what some valves or sumthin?

Hey Zack, I'm down the road in central Ca., but would be more than willing to jump on this bandwagon for 520 parts. If the nor cal guys are working something out to bring down the road stuff, I'm looking for as much as I can squeeze into aviable space. Glad to see your willingness to help the Ratsun family cauze to spread these parts out before they rust to death up there in those wet woods. Any J13 motor parts, inside or out or even the whole thing (motor) I'm glad to pay for and a solid complete steering wheel would ice the cake. Sooo... whats the next step for us ravnous parts hogs?

Hey Brian, I'm interested in the J13 head and flywheel if the teeth aren't to worn and there's no obvious signs of cracks and worpage to the head. Are you doing shipping, cuz I'm on the central Cal coast? Thanks let me know!

Hey Miller you say its a J16 or is it a J13? I only say that cuz it shure looks like a 1300! If it is I'm down the HWY in San Luis Obispo and would be interested but not really in a J16( which I think is a L16, help me out guys!) only the J13. Thanks :hmm:
