Any luck with this thread? I found a couple complete sets, but they only say they fir the 73-74 620. Not sure how/if door size differs from then to 76'. Any ideas???

It looks like the electronic type that I had on my 79 are readily available at o'reilly. (Cardone 31-610). Think this will swap over?

Here's what I know: The dizzy in my 76' 620 is marked T3T20389 221011W11 I want to swap to the Pertronix module but their part finder is designed for someone who knows more about their current situation I need to know: Can I upgrade my distributor? If so, any write-ups been done on this? Any advice as to which part number(s) to purchase? Should I just swap to a matchbox?

Seattle, WA Finally passing it on. Longbed 620 with no floorpan rust. Has the usual passenger side fender rust and a couple dents on the rear end of the bedside, but the tailgate is super straight. Push-button start by DatsunDave, electric fan conversion, saturn alt. swap. Brand new starter and battery. Has center console with working radio. I have searched all over Ratsun with no luck looking for an L20B rebuild thread. Does anyone have a write up on a tear down/rebuild of an L20? I have a complete engine.....in several pieces.... that I want to build but would like to see a first hand account before I do. Thanks guys!

So I yanked the hitachi off my truck a couple weeks ago and replaced it with a brand new 32/36 weber. After some tuning, it was like I had a brand new truck. All was good for a week or so and then in a 24 hour period, the idle went from smooth to progressively worse, to no idle at all. The motor will only stay running if I have my foot well into the pedal, and even then it surges. The second I take my foot off the gas, it rapidly dies. I checked all vacuum sources for leaks and checked to make sure I had fuel after the pump and after the regulator. I removed the regulator to verify that it was not the culprit and that did not help. I pulled all my jets and cleaned them out. Any ideas???
