  1. Should I run a hot plug, because of winter. I am in NorthWestern, USA!
  2. Friday, I spent 4 hours helping a buddy work on his 510. He has 5 or 6. The one we are working on, may have a bad carb on it. They removed the Hitach carb and put a 32/36weber on it. But, we are having an issue with fuel at the moment!
  3. I have a question. What Spark plugs should I use? Should I use the L16 spark plugs? Or the ones for a Nap Z 2.2 engine?
  4. In the past couple days. Fuel line issues. Leaks everywhere. And fuel not getting to the carb. Starter died. I probably burned it up. But each day. I do a little more. I also welded the holes in one of the doors, form the side mirrors. And I fixed the hood cracks. Drilled the end of the cracks and fill it in. Came out pretty good.
  5. Well, it almost started. I put fuel in the carb. And it started and then died. Starter is acting, funny. It is engaging most of the time. I will wait until the battery is full again.
  6. I have gone over everything. Wiring is good to go. Gas line is hooked up. Transmisson is full of fluid. Dirveline bolted in place. Block is full of oil. Water is in the radiator.
  7. So far so good. All the wiring is checking out. I did try to turn it over and that was a no go. So, I took the Starter and Battery in to be checked. Battery was showing 13.4 volts. But couldn't hold a 100 amp draw. Got a new one and the engine spun. So, I put the spark plugs in it. And spun it again from the key! There was no noise or rattling.
  8. Question: What about the engine vent tube. What should I do with that? And the Vacuum advance? These have me puzzled.
  9. Moving a little slower today. Back spasms, and muscle cramps are intense. But, not done yet! Fixing little shit.
  10. Update. Yesterday. I put the engine bay wiring harness in. It is connected to almost every thing it was before, I removed it. There is few broken wire ends. And many of the connectors have come off. I will be replacing them, sometime later today. I also adjusted, the valves. Intake: .008 Exhaust: .010 I placed the alternator on the lower bracket. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Today Battery and starter. Run 14 AWG White wire for the fuse box. Hook up the fuel line. Heater core inlet. Run alternator wires Mount the top alternator bracket. After I finish cleaning up the welding I did.
