my throttle return spring has snapped and i welded it back together but it probably wont last. i need both of the green springs in the picture and the big round part the cable hooks into. shipping is in the vancouver area. it is a 1993-1995 2.4 ka de with a manual trans, not sure if the auto parts are the same. help me out guys please. thanks tyson

you need to get the nuts off from the base, find two new long bolts and nuts in any thread pitch, cut the bolt head off and weld them on to the old bolt rods hanging from the mirror. when you suck up the nut at the bottom i dont think they will go up far enough to interfere with your welds. i had to do the same thing on the same mirrors for my car.

the 620 grill has one missing ring and it looks like two of the rings have had rivets put through them $75. wiper motor is in working order and has been stored for 8 years $50, heavy duty heater is sooo good i couldnt even have it on full blast $75, front round markers with trim and wiring $30, steering box is a bit oily but i think it has been sitting on its side for 8 years $40.

i have cleaned up my message box. we did all of this work in three days. the car has about 35 hours into it including teardown and partial teardown of a parts car that donated the motor and trans. i guess it is nice that we care enough to do these jobs, but i think the real heros are the guys that make the decision and spend the $$$ to do these jobs. tomorrow we will get lots of metal work done. i cant wait. the metal work lays the foundation for the steps that follow all the way to the end of the job. keep in mind this job has a dollar cap so please try not to judge to hard. this guy spent big bucks on his first car that we did just last year. the fist car took first place at a special invite only show for one of the local nissan dealerships this year and will grace the cover of the classics datsun calendar the dealer is putting out. tyson

i sprayed epoxy on the body and parts just to keep the metal sealed while we do the panel replacement and metal forming. i dont like to leave the metal open past the two day mark.
