  1. I will be there in Uber Deaf One's 510. I have a bunch of extra Datsun 620 Hot Wheels I will be giving out to anyone interested. Just ask me! I will be in a white 70 4 door 510.
  2. I just bought this one off ebay. Only 620 with fender flares! I will have to post up all my Datsun/Nissan Hot Wheels. Great find!
  3. Yes, here is the link to his build thread. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/27852-ddtrack-ka-powered-4-door-510/ I will be slowly finishing it up and will keep his build thread updated. Thanks for the offer! I have had nothing but positive comments here and lots of offers to help finish build. I sincerely appreciate it! When I get to a point I need help, I wont hesitate to ask you guys!
  4. R.I.P. my Son. I am Chris's Dad. Chris was my best friend and best Son anyone could ever ask for! I still have his 510. I plan on keeping it and finishing it up. We did all the work on his 510 together. I will update this thread as I get going on it.
  5. That Wheel is PERFECT for your car! Good choice!
  6. KA24DE Swap, 280ZX Front Struts, shortened, Coil Over in Front with Camber Plates, Adjustable Caster Arms, Slotted Rear Cross Member, running 15x7 0 offset, 195/50/15 Tires. 225 # Front Springs, matching rear springs. Here are the Dean Sherman specs I come up with doing a search... For Street AND Track??? Front Camber -1.00 Deg Left Front Caster +1.80 Deg Right Front Caster +2.30 Deg Total Front Toe +0.08" Rear Camber -0.40 Total Rear Toe 0.04" The problem I notice, is at low/middle speeds if you don't commit into a turn, the front end severely under steers, I think it is excessive Neg Camber in the front? Example, in a windy mountain road at say 35MPH, if you let off throttle right before entering turn like if you entered a tad fast, the front loses grip and will slide into oncoming lane. It seems like the front left should dig in on a right turn off throttle, slow to mid speed? Please help us out with your experiences with alignment specs/handling on the 510! Are the Dean Sherman Specs good, or does everyone run more Neg Camber? It seems to me -2.5 is TOO much Neg Camber in the front, and -1.5 is a bit too much for the rear, especially since the 510 came with +1.0 Deg POSITIVE Front Camber from the Factory? We need some REAL advise, not just someone saying " YEAH MORE NEG CAMBER IS BETTER!" LOL Thanks in advance...:D
  7. Yeah, that helps him... I think he is asking if that is a fair # with a stock engine/clutch @ 2040 Lbs... You guys would know best what it should be performance wise. A lot are saying it should spin the tires no problem just flooring it! Ours does not! It hooks up and goes! It seems to NOT want to spin the tires (hence why Uber is trying to figure out if times are in check). From a dead stop it pulls hard to 6500+ all the way to top speed! The suspension is set up with equal spring rate, good traction shocks, and alignment dialed in by my buddy at the alignment shop to our specs. Camber -2.5 Front, -1.5 Rear, 1/16" toe in Front. 1/8" toe in Rear, 2.5 deg Caster Front. It beat my wifes 05 GLI 1.8T 180 hp seemingly easy! Although she wants a re-match with her driving the GLI! LOL Our best estimate averaging a Smart phone app, and a G-Tech Meter we come up with about 170 hp at the rear wheels, 0-60 6 sec or less, 40-60 2 sec... Anyone have input? We are going to get some vids up soon of it running and driving, but it runs GREAT driving it!
  8. I found what I needed. Thanks, please close thread.
