  1. Have a cam cover for HS30 no oil cap...$20 plus shipping from 14609
  2. Pretty sure you can still buy from Nissan. Try using part numbers from above at http://www.nissanparts.cc/
  3. I have some on ebay listed yesterday - you can buy direct if you want Joe
  4. I have a set of Solex ADDHE 40mm with hi/low L4 manifold $400. Includes air fiters. One carb needs accelorator pump actuator & spring. No linkage. If you are interested, I will send pics?
  5. Thanks for the clarification - I will restate as SSS-like
  6. I am not an expert but my understanding is the A87peanut head and the twin hitachi's make it an SSS or at least SSS-like. It's not a factory SSS, just a plain ol' PL510. I have a hotter cam (Don Potter regrind) for her...;).
  7. Don't know the source of the engine. I obtained the car from a older gentleman in Ohio - sitting in a barn since 1981. Originally car is from SF. When I got it, it had a weber DGV 32/36. I picked up the carbs and manifold from Craigslist and rebuilt them. They are similar to the Roadster 1600 (R16) carbs (2 bolts to manifold) but fuel bowls and linkage are different
  8. Thanks for the great compliment! She's a nice dime. Hope she goes to someone who will love her right! Joe
  9. I have a 1971 PL510 4-door for sale. It had a complete mechanical rebuild 3 years ago – almost everything is new – carbs, suspension, brakes, clutch, cooling, all master cylinders, hoses and slaves (stock rear drums with new cylinders and new front calipers on new disc/bearingss). Engine checked out so I didn’t rebuild it. All electrics are good except temp gauge wanders, I think I have a bare wire hitting chassis somewhere in the circuit. It has a very clean, high reving L18 engine with an A87 head and dual Hitachi 38mm carbs with velocity stacks and sock filters. Not a text book SSS but certainly a close approximation! ( thanks folks for comments). Has Nissan matchbook Electronic dizzy and shorty header with 2.5" exhaust (cherry bomb center mullfler and a excellent stock looking rear resonator), stock 4 speed tranny and rear end. Rear sway bar. New tires – choice of 13” modern turbines with new Sumitomos or 14” mesh wheels with new Falken ZE-512s (pics of each included). Both sets have center caps, turbine have Datsun logos on caps, mesh have crossed flags. NO RUST on this car – never molested – has all original stuff including parcel shelf, jack, black headliner, carpets, factory rubber floor mats, cool aftermarket amco center console with vintage tach (easily removed). Seats are original but refinished in cloth a while ago, all vinyl is nice…beautiful rechromed bumpers. Personal steering wheel, excellent BMW flag mirrors. It has all of the hard to find items - threshold plates, knobs and handles, has aftermarket vintage blaupunkt am/fm/cassette and equalizer (it sounded like shit then and it sounds like shit now). Door speakers are 8" Rockwell Fosgate 2 ways, rears are junk vintage Jensen 3-ways. Paint is a new "good" (urathane enamel) in original Mexican Orange, - I painted it. Body has a few soft dents that I missed while preping for paint and some stone chips here and there...this car is a solid driver and great example. I have lots of spares for addition $ (new timming set, PHH 44 carbs and manifold, seats, dash parts, dash cap, etc, etc) Need room for other projects (69 U20 Solex Roadster) Car is stored inside and can stay there for a while (no rush to move it) More Pictures here Asking $5500 or BO – Joe 585-978-1119 (Rochester, NY)
