To clarify, I'm looking to trade my car for a datsun +$14,000 cash on top or refinance and take over my payments. I'm not looking for a show car or anything like that so I don't want to throw cash on top. Something that's running will work fine; it doesn't have to be pretty or have all the interior, just running.

Hey guys, so as the topic states I'm testing the waters on trading my 2005 Subaru WRX STi. Located in SOCAL. INFO I will entertain a straight sale if the price is right, but I need a daily driver to replace my STi so I'm really interested in trading it. I'm looking for specific cars; 74 or earlier 710, 610, sunny coupes. I will not trade for goons, 510's, or trucks unless the truck is bagged. I am also looking at cars outside of datsuns, such as miata's or rx7's, they must be JDM & RWD. I'm not looking for show queens, or project cars; just a daily driver. I'd like to get $14k cash on top with the trade, or you can refinance through the credit union I'm with (American First Credit Union). Details, questions, comments, concerns and so forth can be sorted through this thread, pm, email, AIM or phone. I'm in no rush to sell or get rid of the car so throw me any offers. I also know my car is not perfect, and it's not a show stopper so I'm not expecting the most perfect of cars for a trade. I want a good fair trade where both parties can be happy. I purchased the car a little longer than a year ago and it's been daily driven since. I have not tracked it, raced it, or done any joy riding in it since I slammed it as soon as I got it. I racked up 18k mixed street/hwy miles on it over that period of time and also did some modifications. The mileage will continue to increase over time since I am going to keep driving it. I had my mechanic take a look at the car and found no problems whatsoever with it. I have all receipts and papers from the previous owner. There are a few nicks, scratches, and minor exterior problems with the car since I do daily it to downtown LA. Most noticeable would be the passenger's rear fender which was pushed out and needs to be fixed, something I just haven't had the time or money to do. The rims do have curb rash on them, and I'll be including the stock BBS rims as well. There's some extra parts that I will also throw in including a BNIB replica Cusco Lip valued at $200. Please take a look at the pictures I've listed as those are the most recent and show as many angles of the car. I will remove all stickers and personal items from the car upon purchase or trade. There's also one more 'benefit', if you will, to this car. I purchased this car from a guy who's father worked as a Highway Patrol Officer. The car was under his father's name so when the police pull up the plates it shows that it's registered under the highway patrol. I don't know how valid this statement is, but I was told from the owner that it would transfer over to me basically giving me a little leeway with the cops which lasts for another 2 years. Since buying this car I've had not even one incident with the police, and frankly I don't even get stared down like I used to in my WRX. I will most likely be doing the 90k maintenance on the car very soon.
