I have a question about this upgrade. I bought a a 91 or 94 Saturn SL alternator and bolted it up to the car, bought the pigtail from Napa that was suggested from the other threads. But it was never clear if I used the L or F cables. I know the S goes to battery +. Someone clear this up for me please.
Question was is this the original alternator for the 521. The wiring is a ratsnest and nothing is connected to the external alternator relay. Only reason I am questioning alternator.

Just so i understand correctly. Installing a 5 speed into my 521 only requires shorting the driveshaft and drilling new holes in the transmount?
Do i need the tansmount from Z tranny or mod the 521 transmission?
The throwout bearing needs to be from the matching clutch and flywheel?
I assume any Z 5 speed directly bolts onto the L16?
