Learning how to film and use this video editing software. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wj889QJyRk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaH3tTRbECY Car is down to fix all the little things. Most of them anyway. At least the annoying little things.

Not really worried. Why should I be? Right now I might have to cut a piece of aluminium to block off part of the front of the radiator, as the car takes 30 minutes to warm up by idling. I suspect that it might cool off too much and go back to warm-up enrichment if I drive it anywhere. I'll have to drive it to be sure. This 280Z radiator has a much higher capacity than the OE Z31 one. That, and there's a lot more breathing space in the engine bay.
  7. It's easy to say, but so rarely do you actually catch vandals.... so... But there's no reason not to detain him, given that police rarely ever catch anyone who does this type of stuff. But beating the shit out of him is just asking for assault charges. If there was no danger to you, there was no reason to use force. At least, as far as a grand jury is concerned. Of course, he could have resisted being detained, so... I would have just spray painted 12-19 (2008) on his car, which appears to be a Disastro van/Safari. Then reported that to the police. "You can't miss it, license XYZ, and it has the date of the GM bailouts spray painted on it."

Fixed some of the exhaust leaks. Manifolds line up now, from just 60 seconds of on time.... I guess they aren't that misaligned to begin with. You can kind of hear the beginning's of it's exhaust note when I rev it up. 350Z? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QOgj04WqNg

Thanks. The passenger side looks better, to me. I kind of learned as I went along, copying other people's designs. I'm never making a collector again, that's for sure. I may eventually redo the driver's side as while it clears everything I need it to, I could have done better. At least with the #6 runner.

  12. The normal PO in the UK can't, but just a step above them are the AFOs, and they have MP5s and MP7s and all sorts of cool weapons. When I was near the Palace when the Queen was there, I'll saw guns. Lots of guns. Doesn't really solve the crime problem. Now that guns are banninated everyone just gets stabbed over there. Except in Northern Ireland were everyone has guns.
  13. It only takes 3-4 people to tip those cars over. They slide much easier on the shiny sides.

So I finished the manifolds, and I thought I'd show off: "But it fit before I welded it..." So far: What happened to all that "space": So, the manifolds are at the machine shop getting the flanges flat, and I'm only a little wiring away from starting it. Can't wait! And if anyone thinks that I need a flex pipe in there, you are right.
  15. Good: Some of their "US General" or whatever boxes have ball bearings as opposed to slides. I bought the $179/149/129 5 drawer roller box (can usually find a coupon) that didn't mention anything about ball bearings and it turns out they are. Not bad quality at all. One drawer is a little stiff, though. I could probably striaghten out the rails but I'm too lazy. Much better than paying $300+ for a Bluepoint, etc. The impacts, while a little weak, work and are much cheaper. Cut off saw is wobbly but been working well for the past 2 years. Replaceable brushes as well. Auto-darkening helmet works really well. Battery dies after a couple years and it says it's "not replaceable" but you can pop it open and replace it. I've since picked up a nice Miller one, but it works well as a backup/one to give someone who wants to watch. Bad: The "high speed metal saw" sucks. Completely useless, not enough power to get the saw going some times, let alone cut through anything. Ok, it works well on plastic, and that's about it.
