  1. Got real busy Saturday and with the help of a bunch of cowboys nearby, we started a fire.

    Tried to sell

Sealik, I really like those wheels. Is there a brand name so I could order them? Thanks!

    Tried to sell

Thanks guys. All this is helpful. I'll admit my full comprehension of some of this. I have 235x15 tires on stock steelies. I just want a wheel that will accommodate the locking hubs on the front wheels. I am not interested in getting a lot of height of lift. Thanks for the acknowledgments. I'm pricing wheels this weekend. When I get them, I'll take some photos and post them. Have a good weekend!

    Tried to sell

OK…so I tried to sell my truck, and had a bunch of "buyers." Some with money, all with reasons why "not right now." OK…it's all good. So new ball joints go on Monday and I begin fixing little things to make 'er even more roadworthy. But I have one question about wheels. My rear wheels are bent so I have some vibration to get rid of. I have factory steelies, and it's a 720 KC with 4x4 and 15" wheels. Trying to keep it looking pretty stock plus not a lot of funds right now since I just retired. What other wheels will fit my truck? I've heard about "offset" being a precise number that is needed for the 4wd, etc. I also saw Chevy wheels advertised on Ebay that said, "Will fit Nissans." What's your experience in this area? Thanks guys.

    Working trucks

Do you use your truck for work? Why not post your truck at work?
  6. I've never read a thread that was so entertaining. I'll admit that I haven't been able to comprehend the rationale for some of the developments, but it sure has been interesting. So will your truck be a Nissota or a Toynissan?
  7. Good start. Good luck on your project. The brain trust on this site can answer your questions. Keep us posted.
  8. Well, after checking fuses, switch, and fusible links, my light problem was the connector on the positive side of the battery. Always appreciate a solution that doesn't cost anything even if I did have to spend some time.
  9. Left the house this AM and no headlights. They were working but not now. Jiggled the fusible links, and nothing. Guess I'll replace the fuses and see if that helps. Got a feeling it's wiring related. Does any know which wire (color) are to the headlights: I'll do the fuses, but if I don't get them fixed with that, I guess I'll have to do some tracing of the wiring to see if there are shorts, lack of ground, etc. Thanks in advance for any advice.
  10. I took Datzenmike's advice and fixed the ground and re-torqued the head bolts per specs.
  11. I like this. You've given me an idea. Thanks.

    What is this?

Excellent, Datzenmike. Will do. Thanks for the reply.

    What is this?

Just installed new belts, hoses, vacuum line, and saw this on the firewall. What is this? It looks like a ground cable or wire. Thanks for any response.
