Thanks for the replies, great info. I am all about keeping a low profile and not causing trouble, I would rather ask now and do the right thing vs. finding out later that I fucked it up.

Thanks for the clarifications, @jbirds510 sounds like a cool venue. I have always meant to go to the Steam Up there, but never made it yet. Do you know the regulations on fires within the grounds? Always nice to tell Datsun stories around a fire if possible, or a propane ring, or even a flashlight in a bucket. Camp stoves OK? BBQs? Thanks again!

Thanks for putting this together@jbirds510 sounds like a nice event and it's looking like the weather is going to stay dry as well! I would like to bring a Datsun, attend, and camp for the weekend. Will there be any hours for the gates to the venue, aka will we be locked in our out at some point during the weekend? I see the flyer mentions Friday camping, is there Saturday camping as well? We (DatsunsNW) have been in contact with the school as recent as 01/21/2016. No money. Canby was last summer. If he had paid, there would be no reason to me to come and say anything here. I don't have any kind of axe to grind, I have met Al before and he seemed like a good guy. All I want is the school to get their money, and Canby to live on.

Nope, the money from the raffle. I am not an expert on the matter, but I would think that once someone won the truck, it is theirs to do as they please with it. Sell, trade, burn, give away, whatever.

I personally have nothing to gain or lose from this, other than the possibility of losing a premier Datsun show in the NW. That will only work if the suspension is limited to an inch or so of travel. Not exactly optimal for real life handling. Even if those rears clear the fender lip (rolled?), there is another bulge further up inside the fender that will foul the tire. I agree, it looks agressive, and I like your taste in wheel style.
