I contacted the seller on the previous set before these and tried buying the bezels and the lenses. I ended up getting only the lenses. They said they were using the bezels in the picture to use in making a mold to make copies of it. They also stated it would more than likely be some sort of plastic that could be chromed. I do believe they have more lenses that will be listed later. I had just made my own 2-piece mold to make my own lenses when these came up on ebay. I originally was going to just make a one-sided mold and make a carbon fiber lens. I was then going to cut out areas and place LEDs in. After making one side it I felt confident in making a 2 piece mold. My mold making kit is from Smooth-on. Bob

Trying to make the molds is more like it. I found TAP plastics that sells stuff to make molds and been playing with it. It all started out as just wanting to make some carbon fiber copies, but now has turned into trying to duplicate the originals. TAP sells a clear acrylic and I made one lens with it. Not sure how it will hold up in the sunlight as it is used for arts/crafts. If Greg doesn't get some out in the next few months, I may go ahead and get the lenses from this other guy. I didn't ask him for clear, but will do so. I have been so busy with work that I haven't had the time to mess with any Datsun stuff. My work has be traveling all over the country, so time home is limited right now. Bob

It still is an option. I had to buy 15 sets (30 lenses) to get it down to the $200/set pricing. I only had 8 contact me wanting lenses, so I put it on hold for now. I didn't want to be out the cash for 7 sets and sell them slowly. I am playing with my own molds and trying to make a few copies. At this time I have created a urethane mold and have made one copy of a lens out of fiberglass. I want to do a carbon fiber one and cut out a section and install some LED's. Also trying to make a inner/outer mold and create a Acrylic lens (clear). If it doesn't go so well, then I guess I will go back to having 15 sets made. Bob

Didn't say they would be better, just an exact copy of the originals. It is a company that makes reproduction metal and plastic parts. They have made small parts for me in the past, and I have seen samples of lights they made. They look as good as OEM lights. So far I have 8 sets that folks want. I am paying for my set just as any of you would be. Not trying to make any money on this. I have to get a minimum of 24 lights (12 sets) just to keep the cost down in the low $200's for each set. The price gets lower with each set above that, but not much interest so. I have a spare set of bezels that I thought of getting copied, but it may be too high since plactic lights are at the $200ish range. I am giving it a little more time before I decide what I am doing. I need to know how many would be interested in getting some NL tail lights? I have another supplier that can do the tail lights. I have talked to Claus studios about making them and was told that it would be about another month. If he doesn't come through, I would like to get the other company make some. Cost of the sets will be in the $200-225 area. I am trying to get a good idea of how many sets to order beyond my minimum order. Bob

It is the round style parking lights that I like. It is really straight, but no chrome left, it is rusting pretty bad. I also have a really straight 64 grille with the pie shaped lights that I am thinking of selling or asking for a swap of another grille with round lights. It is rusted some, but should clean pretty good for a daily driver. I can't post on here, but PM me your email and I will email you pix of the truck. Bob

Found one! I picked up a 65 L320. The body is pretty nice. and the bed is almost straight as new. I am removing a few parts then selling the rest. No title with it, or I would save it to restore later. If anyone needs anything let me know. Bob

Does anyone have a floor shift transmission from a 65 320 they want to get rid of? Maybe someone needs a column shift or pulled a floor shift that they no longer need. I have a spare column shift transmission that I could let go of. Thanks, Bob
