  2. Good idea... I might try that. BUT i might just buy a new one anyway since its only $8 and move from there. Your way does make the most sense though, and uses a much better and easier check off method thank you. Will keep posted on what happens
  3. ya I went and priced a brand new heater resistor plate, and it was like $8 so I'm gonna get one and then move on from there... hopefully its the plate and it just isn't working for some reason. Time shall tell
  4. okay so i finally got around to looking into whats wrong. I pulled the fan and motor, and the resistor plate. The resistor plate looked fine and there was no corrosion or broken pieces. In the fan there was a rats nest, but now that is all clear. BUT even after clearing the nest, the switch still stops at 3. Is there any other normal things that go wrong? Maybe in the switch itself? Everything looks fine except it does not work. Sooo any other ideas?
  5. I guess there is no such thing as baja fenders... too bad. Next up is mufflers. I have a 2" straight pipe with like and 18" cherry bomb on it. I put the exhaust on when I first got the pickup, but my tastes have changed. I no longer want an always loud exhaust. What I want is an exhaust system that will sound low and growly as possible for the little Z22. Granted when i put it to the floor a nice sound would be good. I love the flowmaster sound and I want to keep it pretty mild. So how would a super 50 work? or even the 70 series big block, or the 50 series big block? Would there be any problems with putting these mufflers designed for bigger engines with the Z22? The inlet and outlet sizes are larger than 2", but I could get adapters that go from 2" to bigger, and the bigger back down to 2". Thoughts and suggestions would be great.
  6. Alright, Im back on my thread. Ive posted several topics that have to do with my truck separate, but not anymore. They are all going to be here. SOOO, to start it off again... Does anyone know of a way to get pre runner or baja style fender flares for the 720? Or anyone that knows how to make a custom mold?

Ive got one of those guards layin around my house...
  8. well the bar is not stiffer but the suspension, and overall ride feels a lot stiffer
  9. mine are tightened up pretty far. It makes the ride a lot stiffer, but you have less sway when turning. Since mine are cranked so far, the camber or whatever cannot be adjusted any further so my tires wear on the inside....
  10. Hey guys, My truck had been vibrating pretty good at highway speeds so i suspected my u joints were bad. I took them out and almost every single one had slop, so i changed them all, but I had 1 problem. The end of my rear (long) driveline, has stretched yokes. So where it bolts onto the rear end, where the u joint end sits is stretched. Where do I get one end? Is it even possible? If not what is my best bet for fixing it? because id really like to have my rear driveline back on. Thanks, Dylan
  11. Hey guys, When i switch my heater to level 3, my heater turns off. It works like it is suppose to on 1 and 2 but not in 3. Both my 82 and 83 have that problem What is causing it to do it? and more importantly, anyone know how to resolve the issue?
  12. Does anyone know of an aftermarket one? or one from another vehicle that would work on the old 720s?
  13. My window latch on my 82 KC has been broken since I got it, and i am ready to fix it. I looked up the part for the newer 720, and bought it but it will not work, because my back slider glass does not have holes. So... does anyone have any ideas on how to put a latch on there? Or somehow get an old one that is not broke? (not likely)
  14. I just bought and installed a Sparco R100 ($300) in my 720. The seats arent light, but the more expensive ones are. It feels great and is great quality
  15. sinner720st Four link for a 720??? Show me please? haha
