  3. Hi, I am looking for information on Radiators for my sohc ka swap, what is everyone using? I also need to figure out a throttle cable set up. Anyone got pictures? what parts did you use? thanks!

I found 240sx engine brackets, drivers side worked great with stock 510 mount, passenger side didnt work as well so I used some 3/16 steel plate and welded. trans mount, dont laugh I am very new to welding I may rebuild when I get a little better. So with the engine and trans mounted I turned it over for the first time. Slap slap went the timing chain! So, I replaced the timing chain and tensioners and put it all back togeather. Note Be very carefull when installing The gear between the oil pump and distributer your rotor must point to # 1. If it doesnt you can pull the oil pump and rotate until it is. Make sure to be at tdc when adjusting. Yes I figured this out the hard way. I just got a Walbro inline fuel pump!!! Ka24e STARTS!!!! I am so excited I need a Radiator and a driveline so bad!:lol::D I still have lots of stuff to work on but its getting closer N closer.Anyone have picture of how they did there throttle cable.

  6. That will not work!!! lol Ok so I have found a front sump oil pan and pick up tube. Moded the crossmember looks better, but I still need to re make the mounts.:(
  7. Crossmember 180 is the answer! So I finally tracked down a front sump oil pan and oil pick up

  10. I got the 200 sx slave hose comes out the side fits perfect. hey you did say that. I will not be using a rack and pinion yet I just want her to run again now.
  11. I have lifted the engine a little more with spacer under the mount. rebuilding the oil pan wow its low!
  12. I got the slave from the 200 sx got clearance there now thanks Hainz . I am encountering another problem when I am turned all the way to the left the center link bumps the oil pan I have cut the oil pan as far as I can to still allow movement of engine parts.
  13. Any one know if you can flip the pitman arm on 510 for clearance issues or will the 620 one fit the gear box I noticed it has more drop. thanks
  14. I am working on a 12 valve ka24e swap having problems with the center link bumping the slave . I customised the oil pan to clear the center link (rear sump) I am thinking Rack & Pinion may be the answer any one done rack on Datsun 510? What rack did you use? Got pics? thanks for the help!
