For Sale is a 1974 Datsun 260Z. The engine and transmission is from a 77 datsun 280. Nice Slots Mags wheels. Car needs the Exhaust pipe to be legal driving, I have only the header and the collector pice on the car, so it is loud , Clutch Master adn slave cylinder need to be installed to have the car running, (I got the parts and I may install this parts my self this weekend). Car is registered and registration expires in december 2011, Title under my name. Car interior panels were removed for inspection of rust, Carpet not available, (Panel installation pions are in the mail to reinstall them), Little Rust at bottom of the fenders, and the floor panels. Yey,,I got the Turnsignal switch on friday from my local autoparts,,it cost me ! $ 80 dolars brand new, it was worted, I installed it today in less than 20 min, removed the sterring wheel, and unpluged the two conectors,,slide the old one off after loosing the two screws,,and slide the new one in,,conected it,,tested,,and Cabum...works great,,I was geting tired of using my Left Arm as a Turn signal for the right turn signal light!!! Thanks.

hello 80datson, great work you are doing to your datsun, it seems complicated but you are doing just fine. One question, in a picture earlier you got the two engine on display,the current one that you are installing, and the Old original 1.4, or?? plus the transmission, what re you planning to do with that engine and trans,,can you please give me some details? hope you are not just trowing them away, my ENgine is geting tired,,I have a 1.4 and 4speed on my Datsun 78' B210. Hello, I got a 1978 Datsu B210 sedan, 1.4 engine 4 speed I removed all the smog Crap, pluged the holes, made speciall cap just like the one pioce pice of metal that you made for your intake manifold with the 3 screws. Any ways,a after the rebuilt of your Carb, you need to find the wire for the antidieseling Selenoid valve,,the wire must be somewhere laying around,,,you cna welded with a solder gun, if this wire is not there,,your engine wont run properly,,you can find the selenoid valve at your local autoparts,,for around $ 20 bucks I think. After you take care of that,,the car will run just fine. (mine dide ran just fine after). Good luck, I'll bring you some pictures sometime later. Good luck.

got some pictures,,sorry for the delay. yes some one put the engine from a 280z I think....I don't know mutch about this Z class cars ,,I used to hate this line of Datsun,,ha,ha,,not anymore. so here go some pictures from the carburator site, and from the fire wall teh acelearator cable ..at the fire wall mechanism, I just drilled the Ball off carefully to keep the hole the same seize. the cable was purchased at my locla autoparts,,it is from a brand: LOkkard, and the cost was $ ~ 65.00 bucks., the bracket I used in the fire wall to hold the cable houseng is purchased from Orchard supply, I just drilled the holes on the braket at the same distance as in the original fire wall distance,,so, no drillin on the firewall, just use the existing holes/screews at the fire wall. for the carburator side,,,I have to fin a pice of metal,,,and bended about 45 degre,,at one end,,,and drilled a series of holes,,,to match the conections. it's simple,,just patiance. hope it helps, I was forced to do this modification,,the car came with peaces of linkage that didn't match at all, so I just went and purchase the cable. Hello all, I'm not new at Ratsuns, I share some stuff at the B210 section. Recently I found this 1974 260Z project, and my son and I are puting it together buying parts like crazy from craig list here in the Peeninsula area of San Meteo County (Redwood City Ca.). Hope we can share ideas, and I see lots of nice car pictures, I'll get some pictures some time next week to post here. So far we have converted the trotle from a solid lincage to a wire/cable linkage using one of those Lokar cables, I just fabricated some little metal brakets for the ends of the cable housing and is done, since some one put two Webbers down draft on this car, and it came with a heater, 2X3 into 2. we are about to get the exhaust pipe purchase from some one ,,,and probably by next week we'll be done. Helo Fellas, I have been eonjoying my commuter, the Datsun 1978 B210, and recently the Turn Signal is failing to turn on my passanger side turning lights!! it only work for the Driver side light, and some times it does work for the passanger side, but, I think I do need to install a new one. I try to clean it the other day while I was replacing the ignition sweetch, but still dosn't work. any especial autoaprts place were I can find this part? thanks.

I fixed all the issues to my little Datsun, this is my priomary commuter car, so I drive it and drive it,,it's so much fun just to drive this little car. here are finally some pictures that I wanna to share with all of you.. thanks.

Thanks every one, I tock the Intake and exhaust manifold to the machine shop, they welded and machined the intake, they bolted the intake and the exhaust togeher with a new gasket between both, and than machined to make it both the same flatness, for $ 80.00, a great Deal...so I dont have to pay for the new intake. thanks again every one.

ThaNKS fUZZ, the intake dosn't say 210, but I think is specific for 1.4 B210, the diferent between the 1.4 to the 1.2, 1.3, it that this 1.4 manifold for my car has 4 bolts olding the intake and exhaust together. Hope some one has one,,because I asked at the Nissan center and they have it brand new for $ 260.00 thanks every one.

Mis amigos, I'm in the need of a used Intake manifold,,,,some one previusly did some work on my 1978 datsun B210, and cracked the intake at the bolting areas. the engine is a 1.4 stock, and I have the 4 speed stick trans. thanks.

I need and Intake manifold for I 1.4 I need the Sterring collumn palstic cover that comes with the parking flashers shwith. I need the seat Belts (all 4). I need the Defroster swith assambly for the rear window. please let me know how much are you asking the whole list. thanks.

yea, that flat spot still in my carb right at the take off from a stop, but I just press the gass a few times and the flat spot desapears ,,,,,car runs great.
