I snapped an axle a few years ago and parked it. Trying to find 411 parts in australia is like finding rocking horse shit. A 1200 diff will be a close fit but again i don't think it will be strong enough for how i drive haha. Im thinking ill just get one and fit it and find some spare axles for when they break.

Getting there slowly. Still trying to figure out my diff problem.

Does anyone know of a good replacement diff for the stock unit? Or should I just shorten something and make it work?

Haha thanks. Need to fix the brake and clutch master cylinders. Sort something out for a differential because the stock one isn't strong enough and fix some rust and repaint it. Oh and balljoints...

Makes me sad looking back thru this. Heres how it went down i snapped an axle being silly, got another axle out of something else resplined and something didnt feel right. Next thing you know im buying a house and starting a family so the 411 got parked up and put an inflated price on it as the wife wants it gone. Anyway im starting to miss driving the little wagon so watch this space.

yeah i know been busy. bolting it all together atm, i want to make a new set of headers aswell so i'll see how it goes, should be pretty easy, i got lots of room on that side of the motor. :D

hey guys. its been a while, alright heres where im at, 2 weeks ago the little MG cried "ENOUGH" and started a bit of bearing knock, so its out atm got the crank ground, block faced/honed and head faced, new set of bearings gaskets and $650 out of pocket it'll be back in soon. While its out i also thought why not get another carb so i scored a 45dcoe for $250 and an inlet manifold for $225. :hyper: im after some advice on tuning these anyone???? oic's soon

its not running the best atm so i ripped the carb off to give it a clean and took an oic of the dodgy inlet manifold i made, i didnt make the exhaust but im thinking of playing around with this side of the motor soon anyways...
