  1. Well thanks to everyone that offered helpful advice, I did read the build up on Al's truck, and that pretty much what i was looking to find, but none the less, it is just a build, no real informative explination, but it does show quite a good bit of helpful pic info. I myself am running into the issue of the brake booster, as well as not having sufficent vaccuum to run the booster, so i was mainly looking for a good alternative to power brakes, and thats where Al's truck comes in, he is running all wheel Wilwood disc, and no booster.....to me, and what i know about hydralic principles and functions, that doesnt sound too effective, but could be with the right proportions with caliper sizing and master cylinder bore. Ill try and get some pics of my truck up, but i have a crappy cell cam, and no real way of getting my pics to upload with anything near viewable quality. any one else with advice is still appreciated
  2. Catchy topic must get people to look......My problem, Ive searched and searched, and found no results, Ya, there is the Chad Copeland WarMachine.....but...SR. Im running a KA, I have spent years saving and saving and building and building my KA that is currently in my 620, BUT...I need more info, Is there anyone out there that has a KA 620 that is turbo, that is willing to help me decide as to what manifold to run and what turbo sizes clear the booster and master cylinder? top mount, bottom mount, t3/t4 TD04 what have others attempted with great success? My drive train is a full built KA Ive saved for 7 years to build this thing, and it should handle loads of boost, but I am unclear as to what manifold and turbo i can run to satisfy my needs to complete my truck. What size intercooler did anyone run, where do you find placement to be effective? should i relocate my radiator such as the war machine?? did anyone ever do without power brakes for a simple over sized master cylinder?? like an old school chevy? throw ideas at me im game to hear all opinions....
  3. im interested in the fresh air rod knobs, bushings, and brackets, i have the rods, i also need the plastic trim behind the window cranks, the door handle cups, and possibly some other small parts, trying to get my truck pieced back together, shoot me a price, and ill see what we can do, as long as parts arent sold yet
  4. any update to the search for the parts i was needing? fresh air knobs n brackets n what not?
  5. I understand that the rotors need recoating, was just curious if he would split it up, I only need the S/C, I ve been looking for this M62 style blower for a minute now, and this would be perfect for my application cause when im done with it, it will be a while, and i can get the rotors coated, Id have to disassemble it anyhow as i am going to have to weld on the case anyways
  6. soory mike forgot to specify, its a 77 620
  7. is he will to split it up? how much for just the blower?
  8. and would anyone know if it would corresponde well to the FS5W71C in my 620, 3.70 rear gear, 235-45-17s? id do the math to make sure, but im unsure of the thooth count on my drive gear in my tranny, and dont know the required ratio to equal what rpms of the cable to get my speedo accurate to say 50mph.....
  9. Could anyone provide a p/n on the blue 3.70 speedo cog please?
  10. im interested in the fresh air rod knobs, bushings, and brackets, i have the rods, i also need the plastic trim behind the window cranks, the door handle cups, and possibly some other small parts, trying to get my truck pieced back together, shoot me a price, and ill see what we can do, as long as parts arent sold yet
  11. Im lookin for a M62 off a Frontier, gonna build a KA24DER but im not using the black knight kit or w.e its called, Im building a one off intake, so its gonna need to get welded, but i have considered an M90 but i dont think the rear inlet will work, unless i cut it off, and put a sharp bend in it.
  12. you shouldnt have to worry about lowering it with the stock shocks still in it, you should be able to get plenty of drop just by letting out the torsion bars, they them big metal rods that are bolted to your lower control arm, follow em back towards your tranny crossmember, and you will find the two magic bolts you need to loosen, just be careful, they are double nutted on the top side in there, i think 17mms
  13. Just a feeler to see whats out there and looking at prices, I dont need one right away, but near future, would prefer one that needs rebuilding as seeing its gonna be a custom install anyways, and the case is going to require welding and disassembling, LMK
  14. Holy crap, I didnt know these still existed, I got one too, I got my in a s/y years ago, its been sittin in the weeds just waiting for me to find somthing to put it on.
  15. Its time for me to replace my kingpins in my 620, I have read all about it, I have all the parts, even lower fulcrum joints and pins, ya know, the unobtainable ones.....pricey, but Im down to needing one tool, the ream to resize the kingpin bushings, i would rather buy the tool and do it myself, i think it would be chaper than getting a shop to do it. Anyone got a source or part number on the reamer?
