Ok to start I picked up a 74 710 last week. It sat for 6 years, and the fuel gauge is not working. I would like to know if there is a way to test the gauge or is there a common problems with them. Thank you for all help.

I'm new to datsuns and im looking to lower my 521 but can't find lowering blocks for the rear and tried searching but couldn't find any. Any help would be welcome.
