JP521

Hi everyone!!! Its time to change the transmission oil of my datsun 521, but the only gear oil with GL-4 that i found is 75W-90 grade, i couldnt find 80w-90 with GL-4. Should i put the 75/90? Someone had a problem with this grade in transmission? My 521 have J13 engine and R4W63 tranny. Thanks!!

Hi everyone! You may notice that the earlier models of the 521 and all the ones that were sold outside USA, also all the 520 family. Come without the hazard switch, the flasher unit, the plugs and the wires related. I wanted to know after make any connection if someone have one of these 521 and tried to put all this missing parts to make work the four turn signal, following the original wiring diagram? or there is a easier way to make this posible? :confused: Thanks!!!

Really nice truck! those wheels give a fresh look to the 521. Two questions, what tire size did you put with the xterra wheels? and, did you use the same 3/4" spacers with the xterra and also with the stock wheels?

Hi!Im thinking about to get a L engine, pointing to a L20B in the best case, but if i get a L16 or L18 will be OK. But this is the problem, is posible to couple the R4W63 transmission that come with the J13 engine to any of these engines? or should i necessarily put the transmission "F4W63" if i'm not mistaken? But I want to keep the columm shift thats sure. Thanks!!!

Ok, I not found anywhere GL4 oil, then Im thinking in import 2 or 3 quarts of the famous Royal Purple or RedLine. Which recommends for Royal Purple, the Max-Gear or the Synchromax??? And for RedLine???
