  1. Carbs are sold. Suspension is as good as sold. Wheels still available for local buyers!
  2. I'll check the butterflies later today to confirm model. Thanks for the tip. I am currently trying to keep the carbs all together. I will let you know if this changes. Suspension is pending sale.
  3. It is with a heavy heart that I had to sell my 510 for medical school funds. As it turns out, going to school is expensive. Anyway, same shit different day: sob story, need to sell leftovers. After I sold the 510, I went through the garage and pulled all the stuff I had sitting around waiting to be put on the car, but never was. Let me stress that again everything for sale in this ad is in unused, unmounted, unmolestered condition. I am willing to ship the suspension and the carbs, but not the wheels. Everything is located in sunny Los Angeles, CA! First, I have a set of Mikuni 44PHH (I think?) that I purchased from Mr. hang_510. I am asking what I paid for them, $750. Here's a link to his original ad: http://community.rat...__fromsearch__1. I purchased some bushings for the throttle linkage, but never got around to installing anything. He had them listed as 40PHH's, but I'm pretty sure we wound up figuring out that they're 44's. If someone can tell me what to measure, I can double check the accuracy of this. I pulled the filter and measured what I think is the venturi, and it specs out at 47mm, but that can't be right. Anyway, they come with linkages, extra jets, parts carb, old stacks, and everything else you see in the photos. They are currently mounted to a Mikuni shorty mani and have brand new K&N filters. They're super clean, and were never used after they were cleaned and rebuilt by the previous owner. They are currently jetted for a stock L16 as advised by the guys at Rebello. Here are some photos: Up next, I have a full suspension kit from T3 tuning. Again, this is all brand new, never used. The rear coilovers were never even removed from their box. The coilovers are sprung for firm street driving, but I don't remember the exact numbers. The parts include bump steer spacers, tension control rods, front coilovers on 280zx struts with camber plates, and rear coilovers. I've tried to take photos of the only damage to the powdercoat finish I can find on any of the parts. I am asking for $1700, shipped at this time, as brand new all the parts together retail for over $1850 without shipping and tax. For a local buyer, I will throw in 280zx hubs, brakes, calipers that I have sitting in the garage. I am not willing to split them up. Here are the photos: Finally, I have some BEAUTIFUL SSR Formula Mesh wheels in 4x114.3. The fronts are 15x7 +10, and the rears are 15x8 +11. They are completely refurbished and rebuilt (though they were only really dirty to begin with). The outers have been fully polished, and the inners have been left unpolished so that all the original stickers remain. The centers were pulled, cleaned, and painted with gold. All new stainless fasteners were installed in every wheel. They are currently wrapped in Nexen 195/45ZR15s that have 10 miles on them, have been balanced, and are full of Nitrogen. They come with the original center caps, which are a pain in the ass to find. These are available only for local sale. I am asking $2200 for the wheels. Here are the photos: Interest buyers should e-mail me at max@thetuniversity.com as I'm not on this site as often as I used to be. Offers are accepted, but I'm not in a huge rush to get rid of the parts, so lowballers will be ignored.
  4. Thanks for the offer, bud. I actually already have a set of very beautiful SSR formula meshes waiting to be polished and wrapped in new rubber.
  5. Hahah. Thanks everyone. Sorry I stepped away from the thread for a minute. I already had coilovers on 280zx struts, so the brakes/hubs/rotors were the next step. They are definitely from 280zx, as they mate perfectly with the 280zx spindle. Comparing the brake pads that came with my calipers to those in The Dat-side's thread, it is clear that I have the earlier variant. As soon as I'm done grading finals for this quarter, I'll snap some shots and throw 'em up here for the final verdict from you guys. Thanks again!
  6. Laid my hands on a set of 280zx calipers/rotors/hubs for the front of my 510. I'm getting ready to rebuild/recondition them. In looking at parts diagrams, it looks like part numbers change between years, which leads me to believe that parts may differ between the years. Is there any way for me to determine what year my calipers are, to ensure that I purchase the right parts for the rebuild? Or does it not even matter? Thanks, as always, guys.
  7. That is exactly what I wanted to hear. I'll be sticking with the 280zx brakes for the foreseeable future, though I may drop a big brake kit in there at some point. What required you to switch to 300zx hubs? So even with the +10/+11 for the front/rear, respectively, I won't have any issues with clearance at the strut or rear suspension?
  8. Hahah. I haaad to jinx it. True to California style, those wheels were beater, at best. I'm looking at a set that are 15x7 +10 in the front and 15x8 +11 in the rear now. I think those will fit if my understanding of offset is accurate. Can anyone confirm this or tell me I'm an idiot and totally off base?
  9. Then it sounds like I'll have a set of SSR reverse meshes tomorrow. Thanks!
  10. I thought I remembered reading a thread in my searchstraveganza today that said those were positive offset. Something like +15.
  11. I just spent the last hour and some change banging my head against the search button, but it's not really giving me the answer I need, so I'm going to ask all you pros out there. Right now my 4-door 510 has 13" Libres. While I love them, they will not work with the 280zx brakes and T3 coilovers I'm installing in the next couple weeks. I've been looking at a few different 15" options local to me, and I just had a couple questions before I drop the big bucks and make a decision. Also, my fenders are unrolled and stock, and I have no interest in slamming the car to the ground. That being said, I do enjoy proper fitment, so it is of primary concern to me. I have the opportunity to pick up some pretty beautiful SSR reverse mesh wheels in 15x8 +1 offset. Ideally, I'd be purchasing a 15x7, but the price is good enough that it nearly has me convinced to go with an 8. Will these fit my vehicle? I am willing to roll the fenders if need be. Will I need to use negative camber in the front/rear to get it to sit right? Is that possible in the rear, or will I need to do slotting/notching? The front will have adjustable TC rods and camber plates, so that's less of a concern. Again, my dime is a 4-door, if that makes any difference. Additionally, what tire size is the best option for me for daily street use, assuming that these rims will work. Again, I don't need ridiculously low profile or stretched tires, just a size that will work and last as long as possible. If I'm being a total neophyte, please forgive me. I'm just looking for some guidance so I can drop these brakes and coilovers in with minimal suffering, and keep my options open in the future for a big brake kit front/rear. Thanks.
  12. Thanks again Mike. I'm familiar with flasher relays having swapped out plenty of lights for LED alternatives on other vehicles, I just have never seen one flash faster as RPMs increase. It makes total sense when you explain it, however. I'll double check connections all around, and pick up a new flasher. 510 flashers are under the steering column, yes? What do you mean by emergency 4-way flasher? You mean don't forget a relay for the hazards as well? My hazards are actually not working at all, right now, but I haven't had time to tear into it to figure out why.
