  1. Okay, I got it to where it's a great driver. The last thing I need to do is get the driveshaft rebalanced. Color is torquoise Black interior, immaculate except for drivers bucket Miles...81,000, original New clutch, clutch master and slave cylinders New driveshaft w/replaceable u-joints New brake master cylinder Rebuilt the carb myself, needs a tweak 4 speed tranny, shifts great up and down w/new shifter bushings Great glass Everything on the car works.....everything! This is a great running , rolling, museum piece. It's original right down to it's Bowman/Astrosonics radio. The only things it needs are: A new interior shift boot, vinyl A new passenger side rear brake cylinder. It sticks when you let go the e-brake. I have a set of new ones I bought a month ago. Repair to the trunk lock. Some moron beat the old one out and tore up the sheet metal. There is some battering on the valance behind the license plate but with the plate on you don't see it. The motor is tight, doesn't burn or leak oil. Radiator looks new. Motor is 100% complete right down to the EGR valve and pre-heater hose. Fresh oil and coolant. Has a new but not installed water pump. I bought one just because. I need to take more pix of it now. Most of the pix I have are of when it was dirty and faded. Asking 2500.00 OBO Mike 916-761-0054 cell
  2. If you threw a few hundred lbs of ice, 100 gallons of Cuervo Gold, and a little Margarita mix in the bed, you could have one hell of a good time! Great little Marg machine.:) Mike
  3. My forte has been Fiats for the last 10 years. If I had seen this car and it hadn't in good condition I'd have walked away from it. But the car is all there and in better condition than most of my Fiats. It was too nice just to let it get pulled apart. Too many excellent cars end up being crushed because people just don't want to hassle with them anymore. I replaced the clutch, brake master cylinder, clutch master and slave cylinder and shifter bushings. I had to replace the drive shaft too 'cause they bent it moving the car around with a forklift. The new one still vibrates between 50 and 60 so I'm going to have it spun next week and see if it threw a weight. My son's almost wife has expressed interest but if she doesn't want it you'll most likely see it for sale here on Ratsun.
  4. The current seat is flattened out and the vinyl is splitting on the seat cushion; driver side. I could also use a new or good used interior shift boot for the console. Thanks, Mike
  5. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v65/mikemudge/74Datsun%20B210/ I just spent a half hour typing a post only to have it blow off into digital space. The link above is to a car I saved from the wreckers a few months ago. I need some help with the carb. It works but floods out after shutting down from a run. I rebuilt the carb and rechecked the float height twice. Still in spec but flooding. Runs great. More pix and clarification tomorrow. I'm tired. Thanks, Mike
