  1. Dont those tires run on every corner? Or are you just running enough camber not to? I have 205-50-15 on 15x7 +15 and my tires always rub.
  2. Yeah I plan on getting a different wheel that matches a little better to the dash. The nardi ones arent that far off
  3. I want one of those turn signal knobs!
  4. I sanded all the cracks and stuff smooth then covered in a few layers of fiberglass and sanded that smooth, painted it a wood brown and then had wood grain pattern hydro dipped on and cleared over that. I love it!
  5. dont you guys ever drive up 82nd? haha and your GF barely missed me adam lol
  6. l16, l18 or l20b will all bolt in. Car from the 90's? I run a weber downdraft carb on my l18
  7. I adjusted the mixture out a little hoping to get a little more fuel in and I think it helped a little with starting her up this morning but still not like it should be
  8. Its the first winter driving this car for me and every time it cools all the way down its really hard to get started. Mostly in the morning. I just have to keep pumping the pedal and then cranking it a little bit over and over. Its Luke its not getting enough fuel in there. When its cold out it also always wants to die when I let off the gas to coast to a light or stop sign. Any suggestions?
  9. So I picked up an su manifold and I have some spare z car sus laying around that Im thinking about sending off to z therapy. I would have to find a way to mound the carbs to the 4 cylinder manifold so I'm interested if anyone knows of any examples or what other people have done there. And changing the throttle linkage to open the other way won't bea big deal. What are your guys thoughts on running these bigger sus on my daily driver with the engine I have? I've listed what I've done to the engine before but I have an l18 with 86mm flat tops, closed chamber head with .475 lift, 270 duration rally cam, ported head, lightened flywheel... Currently have a weber 32/36.
  10. No I dont. I work at les schwab and me and a coworker just align it so ive never taken a copy of the specs. Do you know where caster should be set?
  11. Thanks for the kind words guys. Its coming together for me. So ill plan on getting some adjustable strut rods so I can set the caster a little better. The vehicle had front end damage when i got a hold of it and I'm sure that's creating some issues. The camber is way different I can hardly get them close using the camber plates. And the tires rub against the actuall wheel well on one side so the caster is probably way off too
  12. So I replaced the center link, inner tie rods, idler arm bushing, adjusted the steering box and re aligned the toe all at the same time. Everything feels a lot better! It still wants to wander around and i have to constantly sdjust the steering wheel but its a lot tighter and not jerky at all now.
  13. Ill check again on Wednesday to make sure all bolts and nuts are nice and tight. While its hanging I can grab the wheel and shake and I don't feel much play. I have all new poly bushings, new balljoints and new outer tie rods. Inner tie rods were good and had been replaced before and the center link seemed fine. I didn't know there was adjustment in the steering box so ill check that too along with the fluid. I havent replaced the idler bushing either so ill do that too.
  14. My other question is about the handling. The suspension set up is listing just above. So when I'm driving at freeway speeds is when I notice the issue. It just wants to go all over the place and wander around. I really have to hold the steering wheel with both hands to keep it straight. It feels like its loose and just wants to float around. I know nothing is loose though. Then when I go to change lanes all I have to do is slightly touch the wheel and it will dart across two lanes. I will not drive in the middle lane because of this. The rear cross member is stock so I cant adjust the alignment back there yet and up front the toe and camber are set. Camber is at -1. Anyone else have an issue with this? I was thinking of maybe installing a rear sway bar but I doubt it will help because it tends to corner well and Im not turning hard enough on the freeway to experience oversteer I wouldn't think
