  1. Mate, for a first times, you've killed it on that fluting!!! My first shot at it turned out probably worse than yours haha. When I do big sections of fluting (those parallel runs you did) I sometimes give the foam and the vinyl a really light dusting with some contact adhesive. let it tack off and sit it where you want it, it's less likely to bunch up and go off track that way. I'm doing some diamond stitching this week and the glue is seeming to work wonders. Very impressed with your efforts mate, you could almost post up a damn buildup for your sewing machine in the construction zone haha. Anyhoo, about the things you were after off my parts car. It simply doesn't have a door switch on it, no idea why, must be a lower spec model or something? However, I have the air vent and the pull/push lever, here's a pic of it, hope it's what you meant mate. If it's what you're after, PM me and we'll arrange getting it to you mate. Cheers, Brydo
  2. No worries mate, I'll have a look this week if I have the door switch or vent lever. I picked it up yesterday and am almost done stripping the exterior, so interior is next. I'll throw a buildup up eventually.... once I tear into it thoroughly for the rebuild. Keep us posted on your trim, I'm a year into doing vehicle trimming at Tafe at the moment so keen to see how it comes out.
  3. Sweet, thanks for that mate, I'll pop into a Nissan dealer when I get the chance... on the issue of parts. I just bought another complete 620 for parts and started stripping it last night. If there's any hard to find parts you're missing, let me know and I'll see if I have what you're after. Tub is looking immaculate mate.
  4. Hey mate, just wondering which Nissan dealer you used to source the weather stripping? I bought the Taiwanese shit for mine aswell. I bought a bunch of rubbers and lights off of them too so thinking I might start buying NOS gear instead of half assed, poorly tooled asian repro shit. Props on the build up, lookin sweet!
  5. I know you said you;re out of stock, but if you do another run of sunvisors, I'm very interested. Just wondering if you could get a price on shipping to Sydney Australia? Also, how do they mount? I'm a bit hesitant at knocking a bunch of holes all over my roof/a pillars. Thanks in advance mate.
  6. Easily the best 620 build up I've read, I just read it from start to finish. Super impressed with your work mate. I live in Sydney and have a 620 longbed bulletside aswell. It's running a bagged 720 frame with ventilated discs and L18 with twin side draft dellorto's and 5 speed. I just bought another 620 (registered and all, just has a cracked head) for parts, so once I get it, I'll be stripping it and letting anyone with 620's know what parts I have available as all I want it for is the bench, drivers guard and door and some rubbers/lenses and what not. Epic build anyway mate, best of luck with it.
