have you checked the throttle plate? it should fit tight right over the first progression hole. as soon as you crack the throttle the hole should be revealed. if you can see a gap at all when the plate is fully closed your progression circuit is always on a little bit.

well, i'm actually not sure what kind of manifold it is. they're two separate manifolds that aren't connected with a balance tube. they have short runners like a mikuni manifold. i can try to post some pics soon. i don't need carburetor linkage, just some manifold linkage.

i bought one of those racetep/topend shorty headers, and it was garbage. the ports are tiny and the collector got caught up in the steering.

is the drive shaft stock length or shortened for the tranny?

i agree that would be best. but if someone has one to offer i'm still interested. willing to buy it to try it.

yeah i guess that's the ticket. i got spoiled with all the easy to come by aftermarket parts for z cars.

wow, i spaced out on all that last night. It's for a 510 2-door. right now i have the stock 4 speed. I'm just seeing is someone happens to have the set up ready to go. i'll be hitting up the pick-n-pull soon but i thought i'd try here first.
