Rabbitine

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I don't want to have to cut the dash so maybe glove box mounting is where it's at. I think anything is going to look ridiculous if I put it in the dash with the clash of new and old but I can't live without music so we'll see!

Sooooo I got some of my B210's more important issues taken care of (like I can now put gas in it without it pouring all over the pavement) so now to move on to more fun stuff like a stereo. Except... I have no idea where to start or what to look for as far as brands or speakers etc... I currently have the funds to do it up nice but what to put in there? Any suggestions? Is it worth it to put something nice in when it could very easily get stolen? Or should I put the bare bones. Halp! Currently it has an aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette from the 80's...

Just yer run of the mill four-string electric. I've got a crappy little Daisyrock heart-shaped short-neck bass and Ibanez jazz bass that I don't use very often cuz the neck is way too looooonnnng for my midget arms.

Got this one for $13 on Friday the 13th. My boyfriend says "it looks like a scrotum" hahaha. In a fucked up way, I think I like it better now that he said that. And I got this one a couple years ago :)

Rad! There's a lot of nice art in this thread. I'm kind of embarrassed to show my stuff after Fisch but...I paint, design fabric, do graphic design, and play bass (poorly) so I guess that doesn't really count as a talent :P Sketch....

At the time it seemed like it was coming out of everywhere but then when I looked at it I couldn't see a hole. It hasn't been dripping any since "the flood" and it definitely still has gas in it so maybe (god I hope so) it is the hose and it just flowed down around the bottom of the tank so it *looked* like it was coming from everywhere. It didn't seem to pour out of it until he was finished filling it up too, so that would make sense I guess. Thanks! I paid $1200 for it. Haha I am a rabbitine. And I've got the tits not you! Well..at least as far as I know...:P

Yay! I bought my first B210 today! It's the first car I have ever purchased with my own money. I love it sooo much already! Too bad when I stopped on the way home to buy gas, it came pouring out the bottom of the gas tank :blink: ...I guess I know what I'll be doing on Monday...

I was surprised too. In some ways I can understand not wanting to sell something you love and put a lot of work into to someone who won't appreciate it. Unfortunately, women have the reputation for being shitty drivers and completely ignorant of cars and how to take care of them so I can see where someone might hesitate. That said, at least talk to a person first! There are plenty of DUDES out there who don't know shit about cars... This hurts me. :blink:

I'm glad to hear that more dudes are open to it than I thought. It's just discouraging when my boyfriend and I will both contact a seller and they only respond to him. I guess so far one only seller has been directly rude to me. Thanks everyone for your input! I will have my Datsun sometime soon and when I do I'll post pictures :)
