  1. Hi I got it at the wreaking yard , i Still have it and the rack .................not using them now as the chassis changed again ................. This is what i am building at the moment , a fiberglass re-body kit for Nissan 350Z
  2. few more pics ...................... I know it's not everyone bag , been 3 years work , 7 days a week , lots of head scratching to figure it all out to make it work without cutting up the cat . it's going to be nasty when it's finished .............
  3. Hi everyone I know it's been a long time away from my ratsun family for me , too much going on and life and death has it's way of taking a toll on us and our toy's . Sorry to hear about your loss Charlie . I recently lost my Dad and my mom is starting to circle the drain ..........getting old really sucks . I wish everyone well and the best in this new year and crazy world of ours . I am back at my shop at home , lost the second one just before finishing the build , that's been making my life hell , trying to put two full shops into one. Finally have a little time to snoop around the ratsun community .........missed a bunch wow. This is the Falcata ( Nissan 350Z ) building a wide re-body kit
  4. Hi here is a pic of the VG30 From a D21 , so that shouldn't be too hard to find in the US A pan and an oil pickup. Hope this helps , a lot easier than making one , especially if you don't have the means . Cheers Fast720
  5. Hi VG30 from a D21 has a small oil pan , not a big dog leg , I have an engine in my shop , will get a pick of the bottom and post it for you . The truck was a D21 2 wheel drive , 5 speed , full load , factory sunroof , A/C . the guy was trying to fix an exhaust leak and drilled into the water jackets in the head . I stripped the truck ............. should have dropped a VQ35 in it.
  6. Hi everyone Been a long time .......I hope this note finds all my old Ratsun friends well , tried peeking in once and a while to see what's up . The world has gone to hell in a hand bag ..... I have been super busy with the Falcata 350Z rebody project , I had a shop in the forest to build the body and had to move out before I could take molds off , so I have consolidated both shops into one ....................not fun what so ever . So Blue Thunder got put into storage as did a bunch of parts and equipment to make room at my home shop . Had to do abunch of maintenance on my house , ( had been neglected for three years ) that took a few months ...........the list still goes on . Here are a of Blue Thunder going in the trailer . Will post a couple of the Falcata also .
  7. Hi It's been a long time since I have on here just too busy , you should look at my build it might help you . Good luck and have fun !!!! I will be back on here next year to finish Blue Thunder
  8. Nice !!!! I almost did this also , but realized it was just a crazy amount of work ,and just stretched mine , kodo's to you for sticking with it !!! I am glad to see I am not the only one that's 720 nuts lol. I thought about it for a long time , like using ranger four door rear glass , welding the back half of two 720 doors together , almost bought a 720 4 dr cab in Mexico . I haven't had time to wander around this site for a while been building a new body for the 350Z in fiberglass ............miss working with metal . And I still have Blue thunder to finish , it's so close , but I had to start the Falcata Z project because a shop became available . Link if your interested https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-and-interior/624675-falcata-re-body-my-zed.html I will be checking back for sure !!! Cheers
  9. Hi everyone !!! It's been too long since I have on line here , I have looked a bunch of times to see what you guys are up too !! I haven't worked on my truck in two years because I started another very cool project ( I know that's really bad considering how close to being done it is ) But I found a place to do this Fiberglass build , you will all be happy it's a Datsun ( well a newer one ) a 2005 Nissan 350Z . I am building a whole new body , I have been at this for 2 years solid , I just started posting from the beginning I got inspired by Matt who built the Vaydor based on the Infinity G35 . Here are a couple of links to my build . The name of the car and build is Falcata the first one is on MY350Z https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-and-interior/624675-falcata-re-body-my-zed.html and the second one is on Mad Mechanics https://www.madmechanics.com/forum/forum/kitcar-discussion-forums/build-diaries/476095-falcata I hope you have a look and let me know what you think , and it will be finished by spring 2021 and then back onto Blue Thunder Cheers Phil
