So this past weekend I spent some time at the Spanish Banks for classic Japanese Car Show. I am not sure if any pictures have been posted yet, if there is already a thread I apologize. Anyway, here are some of my pics.
I will post more pictures later, and you can see more here as well -> http://www.dodo-logic.ca/?p=10406
Hey, I didn't know if there was a picture thread or not but I was wondering if anybody knows anything about this car?
Anyway it was in the Enkei booth and it caught my attention. Unreal looking car.
The Old school scene isn't much here right now. It will get there and people like radio are helping out. I am torn between getting a Datsun or 97 Aristo both have their appeal, so maybe I can be apart of the solution. :)
I am excited as there is a younger guy building this..
Sounds like he is swapping the KA for an SR.
Radio organized a bit of a meet for the local Datsuns. I went and took some pictures of a few of the rides..
There is more to seen here........... Click
I think I posted this in the wrong area... my bad. Moved to http://community.ratsun.net/topic/36304-radios-regina-ratsun-rice-meet/
Delete this thread please.
I am not out of the woods yet Radio, but I will get there. It was encouraging to hear the motor run, it was really loud and I have no exhaust on it. :) Hopefully I get this all figured out. I think I will change the Filter First. Any idea where to buy one? Do most automotive stores carry them?
So I hooked it all up and it runs, but it is not pulling fuel from the gas tank. If we pour Fuel directly into the carb while it is turning over it will run through that fuel just fine. I will look at the fuel filter, and maybe consider a new fuel pump. If I need to order a new ones any recommendation of where I should do it?
Ok, so I took some more pics and have some questions. Perhaps a review. (Pics aren't as nice this time)
It just occurred to me that the hose should maybe be on the lower portion and not the upper portion. Is that correct?
Hopefully I understood this from earlier instructions. Does that seem almost right?
Sometimes I really just guess a bit.
Which numbers go to which letters?
Again, any help would be greatly appreciated. I am sure things need to be changed and I have some time off on Friday to take a crack at it.
Oh I don't drive DMCC. I drift casually. :D I snagged a media pass and shot the video.
If I did drift DMCC I would have to have a fully built car with roll cage and door bars. Insurance is a bit more sticky in Canada when it comes to Tandem so it requires a lot more done to your car. I also Calgary is 7 hour drive from where I live so I would have to trailer my car there, which requires a truck and trailer. Also my skills aren't keen enough to drive there. My buddy put his SR20det swapped Miata on a trailer and towed it there for Pro AM. I always say his car has the engine swap or people mock.
Once I figure out my B210 I will get some stickers. Until then I will lurk in the Shadows.
