Whoops wrong thread

Tittle says it all. So I could figure out why my brand new mechanical fuel pump crapped out until I looked in my fuel filter. Rust :-( so I when back through the line to the tank an found about a 1/4" of sediment in the bottum of the tank. So I tried the penny trick. Dumped about 10$ worth of pennies and another 1.5 gallons of gas and started swinging it back an forth. About 2 hours of that and still had way to much in there. So tookthe tank to my buddies machine shop and threw it in the jet wash for a couple hours. Still not clean. I know locally mac radiator used to open the tank clean it and reseal it but that's a 140$ I really don't have. And honestly for that much I would convert to a cell. So if your local and have a extra gas tank taking up space and want to let it go for a ratsun price please let me know. Thanks for reading, jason

Pulled the gas tank out do to 2nd clogged fuel filter. Low an behold massive amounts of shiv. In process of cleanin her an gonna throw it back in. Just throwin out she is still on the market
