1. The now "eagle rock" swapmeets started off at the old nissan location... no? Sometime around 2005?
 2. Well the last 4 years my dime has only needed 1 fuel injector and maintenance. This year she seems to be a attention whore.
 3. When you have done this many repairs since the start of this year........ 1)replaced a bad pcm.2) Replaced the rear hard brake line (because the ka trans rubbed a hole threw it. 3) replaced the rear brake lines (leaking) 4) replaced the battery. 5) replaced the fuel pump( died) 6) burned 3 outa my 4 free tow's for this year. And today she died on my way back to work from lunch. And yet I still love my car. But I should get a new daily driver...
 4. Id start with the brake switch and brake switch relay first. One might be sticking.
 5. OK. to close out this short tread. Issue no spark no fuel. Had power, but no grounds @ fuel and eccs relays . In my case it turned out to be a bad ECU. I have a feeling that My ecu was to exposed. Leaving the car out cold nights, might have built up moisture. I plan on relocating the ecu to more protected spot. Hope this healps any KA 510s later down the road.
 6. I did jump to ground and the fuel pump came on. Still wouldnt start. I checked, I dont have a spark. I relpaced the dizzy and cas with my spare. Still no start. Im going to replace the ecu tonight. Thanks for replying. Any input/conversations helps.
 7. Symptoms are no fuel no spark. Leads me to the eccs relay. Does anyone have a picture of this relay? Im not 100% on where it lies (not a stock eng harness). If relay test good, then im sure its the ECU. Has anyone else with a ka dohc had any issues similar?
 8. Light enough to make a twin motor datsun. One under the hood and a second in the trunk.
 9.
I'm currently going threw the grounds an connections.

I Bypassed the ecu 104 pin.blk/pink wire by hooking up the FP relay ground, to chassis with a toggle switch.

I now have fuel pump working as normal. Still no start.

I checked the coil and have 12v there. There must be something I missing.

Heading towards IGN wiring.

 10. 510 BACKROUND: 70 DATSUN 510 with 92' ka24de 5-speed. Been in since 09' has ran like a champ. Harness is a mckinney Pnp unit. Running the ecu off 4-5 wires. Ign, ground power and fuel pump, cant remeber if it has one more. Issue: Went to store, came out no start. At home found no fuel pressure. Replaced fuel pump relay (because i didnt here it click over) Still no start. I put direct power to fuel pump and the fuel pump came on. At this point the car didnt start. but i confirmed the pump was good. I checked the fuel pump relay and found PIN 30 should be a ground to the relay... yet its has 12v. so the ecu controls gounds right.... I want to blame the ecu for not gounding the fuel pump.... but if i power the fuel pump while cranking. i still cant get it started. tHIS is my DD so any positive help is appreciated.
