#1488410 Dash clock woes

Posted by Stitebunny on 14 May 2017 - 09:04 AM

Im in the same boat with my 510 clock.  Mine is not quartz however.  I have a clock repair/sales store near my work and just dropped it off on Friday.  They said they could take a look at it to see if they can do anything.  Should know the answer to that next week hopefully.

Found this while searching for answers. Not directly related to quartz operation but some good info and pictures.

#1420199 Help with PL510 master cylinder

Man this car is really great! So lucky to have come across it the way you did.
With all the other stuff on this car it was probably some type of hot rod brake setup for the time period. There has to be some one that knows about it.
Until then, maybe a stock master and brake setup.
Could you make your own air box to clear the master and leave the carbs and intake alone.

Got my 2 inch blocks in to go with the dearched springs and flipped overload leafs. I like how it sits now. May turn the front down a bit. First I need to do the tunnel mod as the diff hits on acceleration. Then finish the exhaust around the new axle position.
