Update. The car still sits in my garage at this moment. I have changed the oil, had the tires mounted, found a home for all of my stickers, and that's about it. I filed for a lost title (title 42) around the last time I posted on here and am still having some issues getting one, so until I do get a title. I can't drive this thing besides around the neighborhood and to move it. Starts and runs in even the coldest of weather with no issues which surprised the hell out of me. I really can't wait to start driving it around.

My wheels shipped from Abu Dhabi Sept. 1st with DHL and went from there to Germany, Ohio, Texas, and then Oklahoma. I received them today! That was ridiculously quick shipping. Found out the wheels are Black Racing (watanabe) wheels.. Still made in Japan and very light. Also ordered some 195/50r15 Falken tires from work today that I should see tomorrow. Going to re-paint the wheels and mount the tires hopefully this weekend. Also got some stickers in. :)

My three day weekend was some what eventful... I helped a buddy pull the motor out of a '92 CBR 600, Put on a timing belt on another friends B18c1 in his 92 civic hatch, Helped another friend finish up on installing his SR20 into his 240, and pulled the Datsun out of the garage and cleaned up the dirt and leaves from the fender wells and cowling. Installed my fender mirrors that came in, took off the crash bars, and sprayed some undercoating in the fender wells. My wheels shipped out yesterday, so hopefully I will see them next week. Once I get it driving around I'll be able to bring it up to work and weld in the holes from the old mirrors and trim. Well.. came across some Watanabe 15" rims in a Dark copper/bronze-ish? for sale on eBay and pulled the trigger on purchasing them. Only because I could use my paypal credit card. lol Hopefully see them in about 3 weeks. Almost done painting it flat green and now looking heavily into a ka24de swap. This car is quickly going from cheap no f*cks givin project to a real project.

Cleaning out the bay, took the bumpers off. Need to get rid of these crash bars. The car has had A/C added to it at some point. It is a weird setup lol. Also vacuumed out the interior and took out the back seats. Installed a DEPO digital oil pressure gauge for fun as well. Before AFTER: Don't mind the stickers.. I had a bunch left over and decided to find a use for them. Started Painting... KINDA

Sadly we only have one junkyard in this town, so I have to travel about 120 miles to the good ones. I may check and try to find one.

Yeah, not toooooo picky. Did come across a sr20 swap kit from mad dat for this car, which kind of excited me.. lol Maybe in the future swap in a KA and keep the a14 laying around.

Ahhh I see it now on mine. That big bumper is in the way. I would love to find me the "JDM"? bumpers.

The dash isn't bad. Has about 3 cracks. I'm working on cleaning it up before I take some interior pictures. Looks like my car has a/c all intact as well. 2 door sedan just sounds weird to me lol. First car that I have seen where they call it that. Gah, that thing is clean! What chin spoiler is that? I have been looking for parts a lot since I got the car. I bought it just for a toy and now I'm thinking about making a little nicer and keeping it around.

Pretty much haha. I live in Enid, OK and drove to Halstead, KS (2 1/2 hours one way) and drove it back. I didn't get home until about 2:30am and woke up sick (fever, sore throat, headache, and bodyache) the next day. Today is the first day that I actually feel good, so I'll probably work on the car tonight and clean it up. I'll have some better pictures then. I did order some NGK wires, Denso plugs, and a new valve cover gasket for it from Napa. I'll be getting me a nissan filter and some oil and doing an oil change as well. The motor runs so well, It really amazed me.

I'll probably end up getting the ones on ebay. They are about 2 weeks out sadly. Just figured I would see how easy/hard parts hunting for these cars are. I've been sick since I went and picked it up, so I haven't really got to mess with the car any.

lol the user name is very old and from my first forum I signed up on nearly 8 years ago. This car is just a cheap cheap toy, now that I bought a 02 impreza wrx as my fun/project car. I didn't want another expensive project, just something cheap and fun. I got the car cheap (to save it from going to the scrap yard.) running with 108k miles.
