  1. I just have to say is that is one beautiful car... Even if it's messed up... I know if i had the bread I'd be making offers...
  2. I don't want to sound mean, but that was too much to read... I saw the price and the pics and made my mind up.
  3. The distance kills me... Esp since I blew my cash on a motor for my other project... X[
  4. BBBAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAA!!!! I thought Craigslist was for selling shit. I had no idea it was a comical site too.
  5. Damn the bondo work you'd have to redo... Is it worth it?
  6. About how much am I going to be looking at parting with cash wise? And is that the same meet that's at Roundtable pizza? I'm hoping its not going to hit me too hard as I have an 85 Ranger I'm doing a TON of work on too, just waiting/hunting for parts.
  7. I'm a huge 510 fan and I'm on the hunt for my first one. I've been wanting one of these cars since I was 16 and I'm 22 now finally with the place and ability to have a massive project car. I've had classics in the past, but nothing thats an import. Looking for a fairly rust free, professionally altered OR straight original 2 door as that is the dream machine. Since I will be doing a motor swap, a non runner is preferable but I wouldn't mind having something I can use for now. If it is rusted, I would prefer a 4 door or Goon. Since these are what I want but not the dream, they have to be complete. And if it is not running, I have to know what it is that needs doing. I don't mind over hauling the motor, but only if I can get the parts for it. Like if it needs a new head, I'd be more inclined to buy it with another head tossed on the back seat. Sadly, I am on a budget, and I have to be able to get it road worthy fairly quickly (2-3 months) so I can have it as a back up for work. I live in and around the Sacramento California area, and I'm hoping to find something within a 200 mile radius. I know this is a lot to ask for, but send me pictures of what you got, and if I like what I see I'll be in touch. Alec
  8. So I have a micro budget, but I'm ready to commit to a project. I'm interested in all 510s with minimal rust. Fingers crossed for a 2 door, but, for the right price and running, a 4 door or goon with rust I will take on as a Rat.

You know around how much 510keeper will require to part with one?

Yes, I've sold my 67 Ford Custom 500 and I'm ready for a much cooler car, not to say that wasn't awesome. I'm tight on cash, but try to get a good deal and you can do more.

  9. Personally, I think we all have our own tastes in the mix. Its your Truck, you pick :-)
  10. I agree, the Volk ones it started with right as the tear down started are much sexier.
  11. Found this jem! Look at the miles! 8^D http://sacramento.craigslist.org/rvs/1772401253.html
  12. The boys are correct. It is a proportioning valve.
  13. Well my BMW I have right now, I paid $2000 for it cuz thats all I can get out of it use wise. My Ranger, $600, once again, the value of the use of the car and what I can get out of it. For a fully done up perfect running order 510, I'd pay a lot because I'd keep it for a life time. Been having issues finding a 510 in nor cal. LOL People are taking them to the grave with them. Whatcha all think about a 73 BMW 3.0 S? I can get it with 180,000 miles for $500. I'm thinking I should hold out though as I have 3 cars already.
  14. Na, I wouldn't paint it, I would do a dull clear coat and keep its current look, very very retro. Be annoying with the fender though :-/ Got to be a way of saving the orig paint. Baaa screw it. I'll buy it off ya right now name your price. :-P
